How many people have “psychological COVID”?

For months, I’ve been laying out evidence that: a new coronavirus was never properly discovered; the diagnostic tests are therefore meaningless; and most of the people who are sick are suffering from traditional illnesses which have been re-packaged under the empty umbrella label, “COVID.”

Of course, most people in the world have a religious belief in the new virus. And that opens the door to: “psychological COVID.”

Here is what it can look like.

A person is watching TV for hours. He’s treated to wall-to-wall news, ads, public service announcements—all about the virus and the pandemic. After days and weeks and months of this solid operant conditioning, he’s in the COVID frame of mind.

He’s IN the context, the box, the pattern, the story line.

He occasionally feels a bit of this and that: a scratchy throat, a sniffle. So he thinks, “Maybe this is the start of COVID.” One day, he has a headache. He thinks, “Didn’t they say that could be a symptom, too?”

He takes his temperature. 99.8. He tries to remember—“Isn’t my normal always a bit low?”

He calls his sister and asks her. She says, “Yes, you usually came up 98. Why? What’s the matter?”

“Nothing. I had a little cough yesterday, so I took my temperature. It was 99.8.”

“Call the doctor.”

“I’ll be fine.”

“You don’t know that. CALL THE DOCTOR.”

After talking to his sister, his throat feels raw. He makes some tea. He putters around the apartment. He feels tired. For a second, a pain shoots up his arm. “They said the virus could cause a heart problem.”

He goes to the fridge, takes out half a cake and eats a large slice. Now he really feels tired, so he lies down and goes to sleep. When he wakes up...

Gaslighting, an elaborate and insidious technique of deception and psychological manipulation, usually practiced by a single deceiver, or “gaslighter,” on a single victim over an extended period. Its effect is to gradually undermine the victim’s confidence in his own ability to distinguish truth from falsehood, right from wrong, or reality from appearance, thereby rendering him pathologically dependent on the gaslighter in his thinking or feelings (Britannica.com)

Further descriptions with multiple source references on Wikipedia:

Gaslighting is a form of psychological manipulation in which a person or a group covertly sows seeds of doubt in a targeted individual or group, making them question their own memory, perception, or judgment, often evoking in them cognitive dissonance and other changes, including low self-esteem. Using denial, misdirection, contradiction, and misinformation, gaslighting involves attempts to destabilize the victim and delegitimize the victim's beliefs. Instances can range from the denial by an abuser that previous abusive incidents occurred, to belittling the victim's emotions and feelings, to the staging of bizarre events by the abuser with the intention of disorienting the victim.

I know a woman who is going through this. She has become mentally and emotionally crippled by the fear of the virus. She obsessively sprays and cleans her clothes after going outside. Spreads groceries out on the deck outside and sprays and cleans them. Holds a digital thermometer up to people who get close and takes their temperatures. She is now on medical leave because she can’t handle going to work and being around people who aren’t as cautious as she is. She is paralyzed by fear. She’s tuned into the virus hysteria all day long on her phone. You’d think people were dropping dead in the streets.

How would this explain the near-catastrophe in Italy?

How would it explain the overwhelming of hospitals in New York, and the super-high death toll?

If it wasn’t for New York and Italy, I’d actually be questioning how bad this thing is.

Hospitals were not overwhelmed in NY. The emergency hospitals brought online there were basically not used at all.

That is so sad. Because of my age,88 in 2 weeks,I found myself early on getting obsessive yet I would see other older people out-and-about and said to myself,”Enough!” and made some changes.

I have gone out everyday since late March, even if only for a quick errand.and the compulsive wiping down everything is over.

Much easier for me mentally. I do wear a mask when required in stores but no more gloves.

I go overboard on all of my precautions and have been since early March. The first two weeks I was anxious about it all. Now it is just part of my routine. It adds a little bit of time, although I’m probably saving time in the long run by consolidating trips to the store and errands.

I’m also of the philosophy that folks can do what they want - so people without masks or whatever don’t bother me either. I think the folks that are still without jobs, small businesses closed - that is having a larger psychological effect on folks.

Like I've been saying since mid-April, "If it seems like it's too bad to be true then maybe it isn't.".

My daughter-in-law and sister-in-law are afflicted, though I'll give my daughter-in-law a pass as she has young triplets.

No so much my sister-in-law as she's campaigning for that moonbat in Maine running for the Senate who supports female genital mutilation.

Spoken like a true fan of prescribing (and taking) the blue pill and staying unsafely in the Matrix ... or yet another Modern Med Handler who shoots off informative pejoratives as original thought.

Stay safe FRiend!

One of my very dear colleagues got Covid about 2 months ago. He got it at an open air church event. Too much close contact/hand-shaking etc.

I think if you avoid that stuff, you’ll be fine like the rest of us.

Doctor told me type O blood is much more resistant to it than other blood types. Not sure if that is true.

Did you read the article? He says that Covid exists and can be deadly for some ppl, most of whom had co-morbidities. The reality is that for an overwhelming majority of us, we’ll survive the virus. The economic impact may take years to recover from.

There are extensive explanations for Italy and NYC as well as Detroit here in Michigulag. Are you interested or just accepting the Official Narrative? Truth Tellers have been out there for a long time now.

The best explanation for the high death toll in low quality nursing homes, poor areas in NYC, and collapsed hospitals in Italy is viral load. As the same author posted two days ago, the PCR tests pick up on any viral load. But those positives are mostly mild and upper respiratory. To die from COVID you need some comorbidities and/or a large number of virus particles in the lungs.

Despite the high death toll in NYC with collapsed hospitals, the exposure/fatality rate was about 1%. 0.25% of New Yorkers died and 25% had antibodies in random testing. It really is a suvivable disease, people get it in their 80's with no symptoms. But those are people who are not overexposed. They are in high quality assisted living with good infection control even before COVID.

Are your relatives actually sick in bed or the hospital? Or is it that they both “tested positive” but no symptoms of illness? This is the first time ever testing postive for an illness without being sick gets you counted as a CASE, all to inflate numbers and hysteria.

“got Covid about 2 months ago. He got it at an open air church event.”

I believe it was Dr. Siegel on Fox who said there are no proven cases where Covid was contracted in open air. There have been eight that MIGHT have been, but those people went from inside to outside, back and forth, so not proven for outside. He said all cases that could be traced were contracted indoors.

Since the time varies immensely (days to weeks) from when Covid is contracted to where a person is positive, how does he know where he got it for sure, i.e., at church?

I don’t know. Just what he said...
