A sizable portion of the misinformation released by the Trump White House originates from stories that first appear on Fox News, CNN media critic Brian Stelter told Yahoo News.
The Fox-Trump feedback loop is unlike anything weve seen in media before, Stelter said. Theres never been anything like this. ... He gets swamped by misinformation.
While critics have decried Fox News as taking orders from the White House, its actually the network that tells Trump what to say, according to Stelter.
A lot of what [Trump] is saying is coming straight from Fox & Friends and is coming straight from the Tucker Carlson show, Stelter said. Ive had producers at the network confide in me, We used to pick our stories based on knowing hes watching.
Stelters book Hoax: Donald Trump, Fox News, and the Dangerous Distortion of Truth hit bookstores last week. Stelter said he decided to write the book after being flooded with phone calls from Fox News sources.
A lot of people who confided in me said, I was proud to work at a conservative-leaning channel there needs to be a lot of room in the marketplace for this, and there should be, Stelter said. But as one anchor [at Fox] said, Were not right-leaning anymore. We have fallen over.
Stelter said his reporting suggests that if Roger Ailes were still running the network, Fox News would not be as beholden to the president as it has become.
Ailes, if he had still been at the network and if he were still alive, he would have stood up to Trump at least some of the time, Stelter said. He did lead the network with an iron first, everybody knew what he wanted, and when he left there was a leadership vacuum and Trump filled it.

Much better to stick to CCP approved news stories from the mainstream media:

Fox is not now, nor has it ever been; a right-wing news outlet. At best, it has been center-left. So it seems right leaning when compared to the rest of the media.

I’ve always been under the impression that news anchors should lean toward the attractive side. Boy, was I wrong!

Tucker Carlson accused of fat-shaming CNNs Brian Stelter with doughnut prank
You are right. Brian Stelter could use a lot more gym time or much less time at the dinner table.
Oh so conveniently as well is the fact that Yahoo has shutdown any and all comments for any article and is pretending to be doing an extensive evaluation of their abilities to keep the troops in line, well, any conservatives .. they could care less what their own affirm-bots post.
They have given no timeframe for the implementation of a new more congenial forum for folks to voice opinions.
Of course, all this is the fault of Trump supporters, right?
Verizon, you made one helluva catch buying Yahooie. Idiots.
Oh, because Brian Stelter said so. Sounds legit.
Oh PLEASE!
If the author of this article was paying attention he would hear Trump criticizing FNC on a daily basis. I seriously doubt Trump is taking advice from them.

Now you know why CNNs Stelter has been attacking Fox relentlessly. Hes creating material for his book, much like CNNs Acosta did for his failed book.Another nail in the heart of journalistic ethics and standards. https://t.co/YcI2tOB4N4— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) June 30, 2019
