We have been tracking reports of paramilitary and other far-right actors who are showing up at or adjacent to protests demanding an end to racist policing and a transformation of our carceral state. This map seeks to right-size the threat of paramilitaries to our social justice movements, neither exaggerating nor minimizing. We have confirmed 136 reported incidents since the killing of George Floyd by Minneapolis police on May 25, 2020, and with new reports daily there are dozens more as of yet unconfirmed incidents to review. Given the variety of groups and factions involved and types of incidents, we have divided the data into a few broad categories of actors/ideologies on the one hand and actions and tactics on the other. In most cases, the underlying data preserves more nuance and can be used to make finer distinctions.

The plot thickens...I wonder about who makes these reports. I see Coquille, Oregon listed. There was a recent armed response to a threatened Antifa protest. Looks like a good opportunity for some Astro-turfing
I don’t see any battery, arson, or vandalism on the part of the “Far Right.”
So the the “threat” escapes.
And there is no such thing as “Racial Justice.”
All, ALL of the violence is coming from the left. Antifa is behind all of the violence. Some on the right have responded in kind, but make no mistake, the violence is always started by Antifa, which is a left wing terrorist group. When the right finally joins the fight the left will be crushed mercilessly.
So if you practice your Constitutional right to carry and protect yourself during these turbulent times then you are an evil right-wing paramilitary white supremacist. Got it.
This isn’t even necessarily violence. Antifa threatens a protest, an armed crowd assembles, Antifa doesn’t show....paramilitary response to peaceful protesters wanting racial justice.

These people aren’t researching squat. They are (mis)characterizing anyone who opposes antifa or BLM as “Far-Right Threats”, lying through their teeth, and just making crap up. When antifa lies and claims a car was trying to drive over people despite clear evidence to the contrary, they chock up another case of “Far-Right Violence”. When shop owners and local residents protect or defend their property, yep, another “Far-Right Threat”. Some of their examples, including the only one near me, are simply a group of concerned residents talking about how to prevent a repeat of the looting and burning of La Mesa. It was closer to a “Neighborhood Watch” than anything. To call them “far-right wing” or violent is a fraud.
So yes, exactly like the SPLC.
