A spokesperson for the University of California told CNN that it "respectfully disagrees with the Court's ruling." The spokesperson said the UC system was considering further legal action.

Nope, Community Activism Participation.

I think it was UCLA that had hundreds of hours of lectures that they made available to the public. They were sued because deaf people could not make use of the recordings. Because the cost of providing captions was prohibitive, they simply withdrew the recordings.

Just stop the undergraduate charade altogether, allow people to just write a check for the prescribed ammount and send them a degree with the field left blank for the buyer to fill in with whatever he wants as long as it's not a science, math, or engineering which still require you to actually learn (for now... professors are trying to say math is racist now so it's only a matter of time before those degrees are useless too).

The only difference between this approach and what is happening now is the kid gets his useless degree immediately instead of waiting four years but he misses out on the real reason most of these kids go to college, the parties.
