In a new article for “The Atlantic” former ESPN host Jemele Hill argues that “Black players should leverage their talent to promote change at every possible opportunity.”
Posting her piece on Twitter, Hill posted the question “Why should a country that doesn’t value black lives get to be entertained by black athletes?”
Hill’s question garnered a variety of answers.
One Twitter user replied “Because by doing so they lose their platform”
Another replied “Hopefully the rapid decline of interests continues. Reality, fans are walking away from a game, life long passion they used to support. Get woke.”
Another wrote “They should totally cancel the season. Otherwise this is just a rain delay and no one will care. C’mon NBA, cancel the season!”

I will be entertained if the black athletes decide to become Gladiators.
Jemele, pro sports is a leisure time activity for its fans. We are not required to indulge in it. So, to protect YOUR NEED to spew, I will no longer require the services of these offended persons. Oh, that also includes you!
Its true, to be totally free of white racism those black athletes should only accept contract money from black fans!

Since I’m not a big sports fan anyway what they say or do has no meaning to me. I just wish, like Hollywood celebrities, they’d stay in their own lanes instead of thinking people care what they think politically.
At any rate if this Jemele gal thinks the public shouldn’t be ‘entertained’ by blacks unless they’re liked for being black m then they can just pick up their balls and go home! I’m sure replacements would step forward without a problem.

I’m NOT being entertained by them anymore. Let the NFL, NBA, MLB, etc. suffer the consequences. Oh, and ultimately, your beloved black athletes when revenues tank.

At first glance this seems a horribly stupid thought.
But upon closer examination, it is not a thought at all--it makes too little sense for anyone to believe, even Leftists. Rather it is a spiteful lie. Accusing somebody of racism against minorities is like accusing them of being a pedophile--racism against minorities is considered one of the most vile sins of our age.
While there is a minority of people who are in fact racist against minorities, just as there are a minority of people who are practicing pedophiles, the vast majority in the country side with the protection of minorities from racists and of children from pedophiles.
In some alternate universe where this is not the case, then being racist against minorities would not be seen as being so vile.
This is obvious to everyone. It is even obvious to the Leftist radicals who make the accusation. While in most cases it is difficult to know one's motives without reading one's thoughts, this accusation has been made for so long by so many in the same kind of context again and again that only a fool would miss the motivation: Namely it is done to produce a feeling of guilt and submission in those that do not have a good reason to feel guilty. It is a cheap, arrogant, vile and poisonous manipulation.
And of course, there is also an exceptionally stupid part tagged onto the end of this standard vile lie--the idea that it would be a punishment to anyone other than the black athletes themselves not to let them pursue their careers.

She starts with a false assumption/assertion (unless she’s talking about dems/libs). Everything she says after that simply compounds her stupidity and ignorance.
In any case, pro sports in this country are done.
