Competing rallies between supporters of Black lives and pro-police, pro-Trump crowds raised tensions across Oregon Saturday. A person was shot in downtown Portland during a pro-Trump caravan through the city Saturday night, according to multiple reports from journalists on social media.
Videos of the scene from Southwest 3rd Avenue and Alder Street show medics attending to a victim on the ground. No further details were immediately available.

Saw paramedics working on him, appeared to be a round to the chest, or was possibly an exit wound. I’d guess he took one in the chest, right side.
Yes, the new video show the shots did not come from the car. It cam from the guy in the street. The knee high white socks and lite colored shirt or hoodie guy that ran off.
It’s a black guy who did the shooting.
Yep, appeared the shooter ran to the right side of the video, and out of site. Suspect was walking in the street, stopped, and fired. Victim took about 4 steps and dropped.

They're not really medics. They wear badges and caps that say they are (and you'll notice a lot of Antifa wearing "PRESS" credentials as well for the same reason) because in Ted Wheeler's Portland, this makes them "hands off" from the police.
It appears Portland cops are not going to intervene.

It looks like the guy is just walking in the street when the guy on the skate board rolls up behind him and shoots him in the back.
It looks like Twitter deleted that Tweet, which I think would make them guilty of misprision of felony as well as an accessory after the fact to murder.
you’re right, they’re not. One or two might be med students or emts, but they are all anonymous, not bonded or insured and no way for someone treated to have recourse if their actions injure them, which is why the cities won’t tolerate them.
“Street medics” are no different than protesters, and should disburse when they do if all that’s left is press because technically there’s noone left to ‘assist’. Medics have been filmed protesting, rethrowing gas canisters and other objects, shining strobe lights inside offices and at cops, building barricades, starting fires and spraying graffiti.

The person lay in the street as police medics tended to their wounds. Next to the body was camouflage gear with infidel and thin blue line patches, which commonly indicate support for law enforcement.
Those are both high paying professions. The boost in income will be nice.
