Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell’s reelection campaign announced Friday that it has hired Nicholas Sandmann, the Kentucky teen who sued two major media outlets for defamation over a viral encounter he had with a Native American activist.

“We’re excited to have Nicholas on Team Mitch,” Team Mitch Campaign Manager Kevin Golden said in a statement. “Along with our already strong team, his efforts to bring people together all across Kentucky will be critical to Senator McConnell’s victory this November.”

Sandmann began working as a paid employee earlier this month as a grassroots director, the campaign said. In that role, he will assist with coalitions and field operations while remaining as a student at Transylvania University.

The Turtle has co-opted Nick.

The Turtle is responsible for not allowing Trump to have recess appointments.

Let the kid get some valuable experience, and get paid for it as well.

I honestly wish he’d gone to work for Mitch’s opponent. I want Mitch to lose.

You’d rather have Amy McGrath, who describes herself as the most far-left person in Kentucky? Not me.

Nick should be careful who he aligns himself with. Team Mitch isn’t something he wants on his resume.

And he certainly doesn’t need to do this for the money.

He should probably take a gap year and focus on how to invest his newfound windfall. Properly done he could be set for life. Improperly don it can all evaporate quickly.

Here's how Fox News is increasing its leftward tilt with Fake News: "Nicholas Sandmann, the Kentucky teen who sued two major media outlets for defamation over a viral encounter he had with a Native American activist."

Sandman did not "have" a viral encounter with a Native American activist." He was ATTACKED by a Native American activist. He also didn't just SUE the "media outlets", they also settled with him.

"Phillips had actually walked up to the Covington school kids after another group began taunting the teenagers" .

Earth to Fox News: The group has a name. It's the "Black Hebrew Israelites". That's important context.

He might learn something about that swamp, so he can recognize swamp creatures he comes across during his lifetime. There’s nothing wrong with learning how weasels operate.

“If Romney had won in 2012 we’d never have gotten Trump in 2016”

If Romney had won in 2012 Trump would have won in 2016 by an even bigger margin!
