The 2020 Republican National Convention (RNC) this week featured a notable amount of diversity in its speaker lineup that included nearly two dozen Black, Hispanic, Asian, and even handicapped speakers.
The speakers delivered heartfelt speeches about their own personal struggles, how they became Republican, or how they have benefitted under the Trump administration.
One of the most memorable speeches from the first night of the RNC was from Sen. Tim Scott, a Republican senator of South Carolina, who said he went from flunking four subjects in high school to realizing that education was the closest thing to magic.
Our family went from cotton to Congress in one lifetime, he said.

Another memorable speech the first night was from Kimberly Klacik, a young female U.S. House of Representative candidate for Marylands 7th district.
Kim Klacik, a Republican running for Congress in Maryland, said at the RNC: "Democrats still assume that Black people will vote for them, no matter how much they let us down and take us for granted. Nope. Were sick of it and not going to take it anymore. https://t.co/ErrkmutHCn pic.twitter.com/U9G2cZj9AD

That’s not fair. The DNC had a handicapped speaker too. Joe Biden.
Pretty refreshing not having to listen to Bushies, McCains, and Romneys crap. I smiled all the way through it. The First Ladys dress scared me and me wife though. You could pick her out from orbit. She needs to wear bulletproof dresses to sit out there like that. Best first couple ever.
That was pretty much the entire minority wing of the GOP. /s
“Democrats still assume that Black people will vote for them, no matter how much they let us down and take us for granted.”
Ironic, considering that’s the same message the GOP just sent to its base by pushing an endless parade of minorities and women.
At some point, ya gotta dance with who brung ya.
Jeez, it wasn’t THAT diverse! After all, where were the Jamai an-Indian Marxists and dementia crowd?
Oops. That was LAST week, in basements all across Dhimmi country.
Wrong.
Right.
When the Democrats get black leaders, “Community Organizers” and “Civil Rights Activists”. Our black leaders have been rocket scientists and brain surgeons.
Um, no.
There were vastly more white speakers than minority speakers at the RNC.
And Trump’s policies have been great for ALL Americans, black, white Latino whatever. Not any particular race. You wanna spew some more?
You wish.
Nearly 2 million blacks voted for Trump in 2016. And even more Latinos voted for Trump. Expect both numbers to rise considerably this year.
I still wonder who the genius was to start the RNC with a prayer and end it with Schubert’s “Ave Maria”(beyond genius). Wow, it was beautiful, but, as a Catholic living in Protestant America, I was blown away. The latter move will guarantee Trump’s 2nd term, just you wait. He who honors the Mother of God will be blessed profusely by her Son. Chicom JOE just missed the boat.
Obammi and Big Mike will still vote RAT.
I come from long line of intermarriage (Asian/Spanish/Jewish/French etc...) and am an ethnic melting pot myself and from Los Angeles to boot. And a millennial. LOVE Trump and Im not alone! Armenians, Filipinos, Koreans you name it! Trump has lots of support.
Not enough come to the polls to carry the state. Yet... but Trumps base is certainly not homogeneous.
Even when Obama won CA in 2008. Gay marriage (Proposition 8) did not. In fact gay marriage only passed in CA after the state court legalized it.... Im not saying the same results would pan out today but historically: whenever the issue was left up the CA voters, and it was a few times the measure failed. Not even because of white voters, but because of minority voters!
Its because most foreign or ethnic citizens in CA even those conditioned to vote Democrat are more tradition-rooted and religious by default. Therefore socially conservative. Theres more to CA than Hollywood and Silicon Valley types.
