I come from long line of intermarriage (Asian/Spanish/Jewish/French etc...) and am an ethnic melting pot myself — and from Los Angeles to boot. And a millennial. LOVE Trump and I’m not alone! Armenians, Filipinos, Koreans you name it! Trump has lots of support.

Not enough come to the polls to carry the state. Yet... but Trump’s ‘base’ is certainly not homogeneous.

Even when Obama won CA in 2008. Gay marriage (Proposition 8) did not. In fact gay marriage only passed in CA after the state court legalized it.... I’m not saying the same results would pan out today but historically: whenever the issue was left up the CA voters, and it was a few times — the measure failed. Not even because of white voters, but because of minority voters!

It’s because most foreign or ethnic citizens in CA — even those conditioned to vote Democrat — are more tradition-rooted and religious by default. Therefore socially conservative. There’s more to CA than Hollywood and Silicon Valley types.
