He must also apologize to Trump’s voters. Beck called us Nazis, and Brownshirts.

I heard that show. It was really bad and I remember wondering if Glenn was having a nervous breakdown.

I am generally a forgiving person, but there is something wrong with Glenn psychologically. My wife and I used to enjoy his show very much back when he covered many things and said things that nobody else did (he was sort of Tucker Carlson before Tucker got on Fox).

He clearly lost his marbles when Trump came along - it was almost like it offended his ego. I don’t wish him any ill, will listen when he says something interesting but not frequently, and hope he can get his melon sorted out.

I am wary about anyone who at one time in the past was an anti-Trumper and then turned. You can add Ben Shapiro and Erick Erickson to the list of people who I will never completely trust. It’s kind of like adultery, if your spouse does it to you once, you can forgive but you sure as hell will never forget.

Donald Trump loves his country. How do I know? Everything he has said and every decision he has made of any significance has been or has intended to be to the benefit of America and America first.

It take humility to apologize sincerely. It takes even more humility to accept with grace that apology!Looks like Glenn Beck has more humility at this point than you.

You are one screwed up man, Glenn

Beck had already sworn in the Cubanadian as President.

Did he write his apology on his chalk board?

Well said Gumdrop...I wasn’t 100% sure of Trump at the beginning either.... but as time went on I saw the true Trump... and have been on board ever since.

We are STRONG supporters of the Trump family and I use the WH website to encourage him weekly.

It kinda is a theological thing..."And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive them, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins.”

Jesus didn't qualify this passage in Mark by saying "but only in matters of religion" or "except when it comes to politics" or "unless you really hate the guy" or "unless he was a NeverTrumper" or "but if you don't feel like it, you don't have to listen to Me."

I, too, remember how Beck became the anti-Trup. It was borderline pathetic AND when Trump needed help. So Beck and Levin fd up and they made no bones about it...just like Cruz. They were then de facto zotted from the Deplorable camp.

Mark has basically asked for forgiveness and Beck is more so asking for it.

Now, am I supposed to forgive every unrepentant scroundrel and let them off the hook? No....Willard and Bill Kristol remain losers and haven't apologized. They remain in the dog house. And Jesus would also want contrition, so we're all good there.

If Beck or Levin relapse, that's a different story. But if they are saying they got Trump wrong are sorry for that, and if Jesus could forgive a REPENTANT Peter, then yeah...I don't have to have them over for dinner or buy their books but it'd be pretty hypocritical to NOT accept their apology.

He hasn’t apologized to his listeners for calling them “nazis” and “brownshirts” for supporting Trump, though. He asked for forgiveness from Trump; he didn’t ask forgiveness from the people he called Nazis that I’m aware of. Bit of a difference there.

Depends on how you define an apology.

I am one of the few Freepers who actually sparred with Levin on FR regarding Trump prior to Levin’s epiphany.

I had been a Levin fan, and was very distressed with Levin’s Trump-Bashing...

However, in late Sept. he stated he would vote for Trump. Since that time, he has been the loyalest supporter.

Trust me or don’t..I have been here a long time. I forgave Levin a long time ago.

He may not have explicitly said “I apologize;” however, he said he was voting for Trump. Big help for Trump given Levin’s audience size.

Since then I would say there are few as loyal to Trump as Mark Levin.

While the Lord demands justice, meaning a fake apology or an unrepentant confession is to be disregarded, He also is forgiving. We are also called to forgiveness (see my comment elsewhere).

Forgiving someone doesn't mean you become stupid or disregard case history. People lapse, people err, people fall off the wagon. Nobody is perfect and indeed, you said we're not expected to be perfect...why is perfection bending demanded of Beck and Levin? Like I said you don't have to buy their books or have them over for Thanksgiving.

I was not on the Trump bandwagon at first. When he looked like he was going to get the nomination, I was afraid he would be like Romney and McCain - never try to win back the conservatives of the Republican Party. Then a couple weeks before the election, I was in a hotel room and while my girlfriend was getting ready, I laid down and with my eyes closed, listen to a Trump speech during a rally. It was interesting listening to the speech vice watching and listening. After the customary greetings and throwing out the red meat against crooked Hillary, one-by-one he started laying out what he wanted to accomplish as President. It wasn’t the same platitudes but concrete ideas. From that moment on, I started paying attention to him. His multiple rallies, his speeches. But even on election night I was afraid that Hillary was going to win. What a wonderful surprise when I woke up around 0200 and saw that he won. I have been on the band wagon ever since. I believe that he is not only going to get the numbers that originally voted for him, but tons of Dems and independents will swing over to him.
