Howdy, luvie.
It’s raining! WOOHOO! We’ve been ripped off all day but it started raining a few minutes ago while I was in the shower. Now it’s pounding on the roof.
We got lucky. This is the last band of rain to come through the state. All the others bypassed us or fizzled out before they reached us.
I wish a system would move through your area to wet everything and cool things off a bit.

Hurricane Laura missed us completely. Not even one drop of rain and only normal, light breezes. We were hoping for several inches of rain. Oh, well, maybe next time! ;-)
However I did try to warn the husband of the other recipient of this post about HURRICANE LUVIE!
