Someone in the Trump administration should remind employers that racial discrimination in hiring is illegal.
Just fire some white people and make it up with black people regardless of qualifications. The planes will magically fly off in a cloud of exuberance and joy.

If I were CEO I’d be more concerned that all my planes now have massive safety issues and sales are plummeting before worrying about diversity hires because I’m not even sure there’s 20% more black engineers out there.
In that case, I pledge a 100% increase in my travel on Airbus aircraft. :)

Because at least from what I’ve seen in Brooklyn, unless swigging a 40 and smoking tremendous amounts of pot is the main requirement, they are gonna have trouble filling these positions.

As a government contractor Boeing is covered by Executive Order 11246 and therefore has had an affirmative action program (presumably with regular compliance reviews) for decades. I guess this shows all that money and effort were to no avail. Maybe this is yet another government regulation that Mr. Trump could eliminate the EO and help give the economy a further boost ...
