Currently your company is known for a plane that pilots are sometimes unable to fly safely. How will a racial quota solve that problem? Focus on technical competence!

Someone in the Trump administration should remind employers that racial discrimination in hiring is illegal.

Just fire some white people and make it up with black people regardless of qualifications. The planes will magically fly off in a cloud of exuberance and joy.

If I were CEO I’d be more concerned that all my planes now have massive safety issues and sales are plummeting before worrying about diversity hires because I’m not even sure there’s 20% more black engineers out there.

Where are all these qualified folks gonna come for all of these millions of jobs coming their way?

Because at least from what I’ve seen in Brooklyn, unless swigging a 40 and smoking tremendous amounts of pot is the main requirement, they are gonna have trouble filling these positions.

It’s a lie that blacks can’t get jobs now. they are getting many.

So what’s left is those who don’t want to work.

That should help a company out a lot, hiring them.

Fascinating virtue signaling by a CEO. As a government contractor Boeing is covered by Executive Order 11246 and therefore has had an affirmative action program (presumably with regular compliance reviews) for decades. I guess this shows all that money and effort were to no avail. Maybe this is yet another government regulation that Mr. Trump could eliminate the EO and help give the economy a further boost ...
