There was a black guy who made a long video of that night. When this incident went down he was far away and describing how the white Antifa operated, saying the white guys won’t let anyone in close and he video’d one guy walking away who had gone in and the white Antifa slapped his phone out of his hand and would have beat him.
The white Antifa want no video and they were planning to beat the 17 year old kid.
Kid fled and shot back when he was pursued by the criminal Antifa who were trying to beat him to near death. I think they have orders not to kill anyone, but serious beatings are approved.
If the police had shown up to enforce the curfew they would have been attacked by the BLM and ANTIFA mobs.
Maybe he could have the chief of police enforce the curfew.

The idea with a curfew is that being on the street after a certain hour leads to arrest. What part don’t they get?

If the cops refuse to protect people and their property from violent thugs the people have to do it themselves. I don’t know if the chief is a moron or an asshole or both. They can either do their job or get out of the way so people can defend themselves. The arrest of the 17 year old was done to discourage people from defending themselves. I don’t think it will work when people have to choose between life or death. If a family is threatened they either die or open fire to put down the threat. It’s not a hard decision to make. Kill or be killed.

He’s not wrong, but a curfew is meaningless until it’s enforced. Violating the curfew is not really the problem; it’s the rioting. That’s why there was an unenforced curfew in the first place.
