On Tuesday night two people were killed in the continued violence in Kenosha, Wisconsin. It appears they were killed by the same shooter, a 17-year-old by the name of Kyle Rittenhouse. Another individual shot by Rittenhouse appears to have been carrying a handgun.
A new video slowed down shows a man hitting the accused Rittenhouse with a skateboard after Rittenhouse fell down running from what perhaps was his first episode with a gun.

All three shot (two dead) had some kind of criminal record or past convictions. They weren’t exactly ‘boy-scouts’. That’s going to show up in any court activity accusing the kid of murder. I don’t see any jury convicting him.
Two things are gonna trip this kid up:
1. The kid was not lawfully in possession of that firearm, and;
2. He crossed state lines with it.
Those 2 facts make the whole thing problematic.

Maybe the same could be said for the dead.......

The guy that got his arm shot off was also illegally carrying a weapon. I’d call it square. Okay - maybe 6 months probation and some charity work for the weapons violations. Most states don’t have an age limit for carrying a long gun, so it isn’t like it is some heinous act.
Looks to me like a good 2A case. This state line law is bull sht... especially during times of durrss of looting or disasters.
Open carry state and all three were obvious self defense. Much better video out there than what is on the news. Not charged, at least not yet, for any weapons violations.
Check we done cross state lines with guns up n the mgs here all the time..been doin for hundreds of years...precedent..NY, NH, hunters go into Vermont with guns all the years.....clear and present danger...self defense is above all laws of man....this action was not illegal in 1921..in 1849 you go could too clear across the USA from NY to California with a pistol, no such thing as “illegal weapon”.this is infringement concocted by aggrandizement gun politicians... It was not how America was in the beginning g they take away all our rights. sObs...
Not saying it’s right or wrong, just looking at it from a legal perspective.

As I’ve said to others, just looking at it from a legal perspective, not if it’s right or wrong. Personally I think the murder charges are crap. But the factors I’ve mentioned could be problematic in the current environment. Especially if the DA is a hard lefty.

“not lawfully in possession”
Oh?
Well, you've nailed it right there. It won't be a legal problem for the young man, it will be a political problem.
He pulled on the barrel as he ran by and this pointed the weapon at his vital areas and the fact that Kenosha Kyle's finger was on the trigger caused the gun to fire. And the weapon was strapped to Kenosha Kyle via straps.
A tragic ending for a man who would strike a child in the head with a skateboard. Striking someone in the head is attempted murder.
Anyone set up a Go-Fund-Me defense fund for Kyle Rittenhouse yet?
Why do you think Democratic governors are releasing felons from prison?
A couple have tried but Go-Fund removes them as soon as they go up. That site has a history of using political affiliation as a discriminatory qualifier.
Well maybe if cops actually were ordered by their governments to control the riots, then far fewer people would be dead from being stupid.
In self defense, man is above all so-called “legal perspectives”...even animals have a right to self defense... It comes from God, it is instinctive, and therefore supersedes all man made “legal perspectives” verbum sat...these “legal perspectives” would have placed a dog on trial for biting someone near her puppies..it is all BS ..self preservation is part of the natural order and natural law... It is above all human concoctions called “laws”... some one needs to study philosophy and theology and it ain’t me. Does a man have less rights than a dog? Gimme a break
