.Those of you who know me know that I’ve moved on from polls in early 2016 when all but two (Trafalgar and People’s Pundit Daily—now Big Data Poll) were proven wrong. Never going back.

You also know that using other measures, namely the same ones that allowed me in early 2016 to predict a Trump electoral college victory of “300-320 electoral votes” (final was 306), I think President Donald Trump is headed for a decisive win. No victory can be called a “landslide” without the states of California, New York, and Illinois, which Trump won’t get. But he’ll come in with over 320 electoral votes this time, maybe closer to 350 depending on how terrible Joe Biden is and how many riots there are between now and November 3.

So, this column is about what happens when, not if, the Democrats lose on Nov. 3. What can we expect?

I'm about to read it, but I have argued for a while that the dems are not even trying to win, they are laying the groundwork for knowing they are going to lose and how to deal with it ... likely by trying to sabotage the election so it can't be called legit.

They have known for a long long time there is no path to victory. Got a crisis? get a bigger crisis.

I have always paid close attention to what the author has to say (LS on FR). He is correct about the polls, ignore them. Instead, watch what the Dems are doing, not what they are saying. And what they are doing suggest the scenario described in this article.

By the end of this week, their plan will be apparent, because they will have no alternative. Look to the Washington Post and the New York Times to lead on the print media and NBC, CNN, MSNBC, and ABC to be out front on the TV media. Fox News will be conflicted, they wanted to be this year for them to jump ship completely, but they will probably hedge their bets. Portland, Kenosha, and elsewhere are just rehearsals for what will happen after Election Day. I hope that we are ready.

It’s my understanding that states determine how they will, and IF they will hold a POTUS election as long as they do not run afoul of a bunch of voting rights laws.

That indicates to me the states most likely to adopt VBM are already blue. Red states will likely have traditional elections, with expanded absentee.

Do not the legislatures of the swing states (PA, MI, WI, CO etc.) determine the method of election, rather than a Governor deciding unilaterally? I know in NV it was Gov and legislature deciding for universal VBM.

How does that angle factor in the war game?

Assume Trump is convincingly elected and the Dems are left grasping at straws in a vain hope to get Biden elected. Once the dust settles, the media will begin again their non stop hair on fire rants about Trump accusing him of personally spreading COVID and other insanity. If the Democrats lose the House AOC will become minority leader and Nancy will be out. Riots will continue in Democrat cities, but Trump will be forced to use federal troops torestore order. The Democrat Party will be in shambles and become brazenly Marxist.

The only question ever in play this cycle was will the Dems hold the house..

Biden was selected because he was believed to be the least offensive and therefore most likely to keep the WH loss from becoming a down ballot slaughter.

Unfortunately his mental state is so compromised and declining ever more rapidly by the day that he likely can’t play that role and down ballots will be a slaughter as well.

Trump will take every state he won in 16. He’ll get most if not all the states he lost by 5 or less points and take the Battle straight to the democrat strongholds he lost by 5-10 and don’t be surprised if he picks off one or two of them as well. By mid October Trump will almost certainly be so obviously in the lead that he will take his show right into the deepest of blue states.. he won’t likely flip them but democrats will be forced to spend large amounts of their resources in states they never ever had to worry about before.
