Guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention state that those who come in close contact with someone with the coronavirus for more than 15 minutes could spread the virus regardless of whether either party wears a mask.
“Wondering what @cdcgov really thinks about masks? Their guidance on quarantining after exposure to someone with #covid explicitly states whether the infected OR exposed person wore masks doesn’t matter,” former New York Times reporter Alex Berenson tweeted Sunday.
“My mask protects no one. So does yours. Thanks for clearing that up, CDC!” he added, accompanied by screenshots of the CDC’s guidelines.

Last week I read N95 masks catch .3 microns of microbes and that the CCP virus is .1.

The plan is in place to remove Trump. Voter fraud, voter suppression via violence and intimidation, highly skewed political coverage, highly skewed "news" polls, constant negative news reporting on Trump and his administration, judicial activism and, as a last resort, assassination of Trump and/or family members.
Everything is probability rather than 100% prevention. Will a mask prevent me from getting the Chinese Death Plague if I spend fifteen minutes in a room with someone coughing from it? No. Will it reduce the odds? Yes, unless the air is so full of the Kung Flu that there is no way to avoid it.
Now how much will it reduce my chance of getting it? From 90% to 10%? Great, I'll mask up. From 50% to 49%? Probably not worth the trouble.
It's like a seatbelt. Will it keep me from being killed in a car wreck? No. Will it reduce the chances? Yes.
Neither of those cases is a justification of government enforcement of their usage. I'm just talking about whether it is a smart thing to do.

you read it wrong, over the counter N95 is 3-5, they have a new expensive one that if perfectly fit will go to .3-.5, still NOT good enough, to stop a virus from transmitting you need a HAZMAT SUIT!!!

[One often sees unmasked folks in a store that "requires" masks, and I have pondered over a tee shirt that says:
"I am not wearing this mask for my protection, asshole, its for your protection."
