A key eyewitness in the police shooting of Jacob Blake on Sunday in Kenosha, Wisconsin, says that police told Blake to “drop the knife,” though he himself did not see Blake carrying a knife at the time.
The eyewitness has been identified by the Associated Press as Raysean White, and as the person who made the original cellphone video of the shooting.
The AP reported Tuesday:
The man who said he made the cellphone video, 22-year-old Raysean White, said he saw Blake scuffling with three officers and heard them yell, “Drop the knife! Drop the knife!” before the gunfire erupted. He said he didn’t see a knife in Blake’s hands.

You shoot until the threat is no longer a threat.
This shooting is very troubling, to say the least. Shooting the guy in the back at least seven times is wrong in so many ways. In front of his kids, on one of their birthdays no less. He was not armed by all accounts, was not attacking the police officers, etc. He was not shot in self-defense or to protect others. He’s not dead, so not murder yet, but should be when you read what little is left of the guy and imagine what his future is likely going to be.
The Riot has nothing to do with this guy being shot it was all prepared and waiting for the signal
My first impression is sunglasses, not a knife. And no police report says there was a knife.
I’ve seen one, hard to tell- but regardless, a witness heard the police yelling to drop the knife- the man refused, and then reached into the car- He escalated the whole situation into a deadly encounter for not complying- for thinking he was above the law-
It’s sick that the mayor came out in support of this sexual predator, who was fighting the police, ignoring orders, doing wrong- acting like a punk thug- but the cop, who was out doing the right thing, in another incident, who was brutally hit in the head with a brick ,the mayor there never came out in support of

Just like if he has a violent criminal record we would have heard about it? No, we won’t hear anything that could incriminate Saint Jacob in his responsibility towards this incident.
I’m sure he was carrying a knife, but that picture doesn’t do any good. You can’t see jack.
Bodycams will show more, but the cops are being dumb again by withholding this information, by then the narrative will already been written. The truth does not matter to the MSM.

Have you got a link to this new video? The one I have seen has his arm dangling beneath the door. Had he gotten up then, there would have been more shots than seven.
How so? Was there a knife? Apparently not. Was the guy charging the police, definitely no. They shot a fleeing man seven times in the back. IN THE BACK.
There is no bodycam, and that pic, along with the officers yelling drop the knife, prior to him bending into his car, would be enough for me as a jurist.

Look at the still of him walking around the front of the car. He has something in his hand.
There is now an earlier video from the other side of the car. He was fighting the police before he shrugged them off and came around in his tone deaf strut. Ignoring all commands, he opens his door and then leans down and reaches into car.

One video shows a knife in his hand (police say right hand. Video image is probably reversed because it shows the knife in his left hand).
This guy was a threat to everyone.
