Jerry Seinfeld: So You Think New York Is ‘Dead’ (It's not)

Manhattan is an island off the coast of America. Are we part of the United States? Kind of. And this is one of the toughest times we’ve had in quite a while.

But one thing I know for sure: The last thing we need in the thick of so many challenges is some putz on LinkedIn wailing and whimpering, “Everyone’s gone! I want 2019 back!”

Oh, shut up. Imagine being in a real war with this guy by your side.

Listening to him go, “I used to play chess all day. I could meet people. I could start any type of business.” Wipe your tears, wipe your butt and pull it together.

He says he knows people who have left New York for Maine, Vermont, Tennessee, Indiana. I have been to all of these places many, many, many times over many decades. And with all due respect and affection, Are .. You .. Kidding .. Me?!

He says Everyone’s gone for good. How the hell do you know that? You moved to Miami. Yes, I also have a place out on Long Island. But I will never abandon New York City. Ever.

And I have been onstage at your comedy club Stand Up N.Y. quite a few times. It could use a little sprucing up, if you don’t mind my saying. I wouldn’t worry about it. You can do it from Miami.

Jerry is speaking generally here and ia generally correct but...he didn’t address the politically driven crime spree that is enveloping NY. There are malevolents in NY and a lot of other places that have to be dealt with...

With technology, it could be spread out to various places. Having it all together as it has been was for the sake of convenience, but it isn't a necessity now (for the most part).

This stupid virus will give up eventually. The same way you have.

I like Jerry Seinfeld. I really do. I like his humor, his taste in cars, and the fact that he has railed against the Politically Correct crowd for trying to eliminate all forms of satire and comedy.

But what Seinfeld doesn't realize is that the same elites that he parties and rubs elbows with is not playing a game. Their goal is to enslave all of humanity, and kill those who resist. I wish I were joking, but that's the script they are running.

The "virus" will endure in one "mutated" form or another until the next phase is ready: the "vaccine", which Bill Gates told us will actually consist of "multiple vaccines."

We will get a Digital ID to let the elites and tyrants know we have the "vaccine" - and then they might even let us on a shorter leash, for awhile.

But the Digital ID, Trust Stamp, and the new blockchain that will be bundled with them all are just the beginning. It will all lead to the mark of the beast, and I am not joking. The mask is nothing more than a vehicle to condition humanity for the soon coming mark.

Sorry Jerry - but you don't see what's really coming.

I’m thinking NYC is capable of coming back (and stronger than before) but will likely require a change of leadership to jump-start it first. Similar to how Rudy was elected mayor in the 1990s. With DeBlasio and his ilk running the city, it is likely to get worse before it gets better.

That’s a reasonable point of view. Thank you for your reply. Certainly leadership now is a problem. How they’re going to get out of this mess is unclear, but, for the good of everyone living (and working) (and visiting) there, I hope they do.

New York City isn’t dead, it’s just “pining for the fjords.” Actually, NYC isn’t dead,it’s just waiting for political leadership. I was in a graduate school at Columbia U. in the early-mid 1950s and found the city interesting and exciting. I had NYC friends that I was very fond of, but, as a Southern, found NewYorkers in general exceptional rude. “An armed society is a polite society.” Hopefully, it will come back and not be much of a pain in our side.

Not Benson? Got a year to decide. Could be Eagar AZ, or even Price Utah. But anywhere I would like will NOT be somewhere a New Yorker would like.

NYC is not dead. What a silly thing to write.

I don’t like the politicians. I don’t like the crowds. As a group I don’t care for New Yorkers. But individually, they are people like everyone else.

But this is a set back, not a wipe out. It might take a few years, but it will recover. DeBlasio will be voted out. The cops will come back.

A story like the one in the Post is indicative of people who can’t see past the next day.

If New York City is dead then the entire state is dead. New York City provides 80 percent of the revenue to run the state. The rest of the state provides 20 percent. Good luck! Lol.
