Good work!
You’d think with all this focus on the police this officer would use restraint. Or he’s a Sorosis plant.
Doesn't it?
Doesn't it?
Another dead thug. Another riot.
Did the police know him? If so, they certainly could radio for his history. If they did so, they would know that he was a criminal with a history of gun violence.
It was difficult to watch, just like the initial bystander video of George Floyd. But violent criminal cases are indeed the most confused and opaque of all. Theres always a lot of background. Most people lack the intellectual curiosity, or are too lazy to pursue any further information though.
All I know is - you could not pay me enough to be a cop in any American inner-city.
I watched the video of Blake.
There was something about the way he acted that seemed familiar to me.
Then, I realized what it was.
He was acting like an NBA player.
As soon as he reached into the car, his life was forfeit. Id say the cops should have known that, and should have taken greater measures to see that he didnt get the car door open. Dudes lucky he lived.
Doesn’t matter. The demonic press has already framed the argument in the headlines: “White Cop shoots unharmed black man in back seven times.”
I think everyone’s premise is wrong.
Consider a new concept. Police officers have a right to go home to their families alive.
Ask yourself, how does the police officer get home alive if a person ignores you with a gun pointed at him, and reached into the car?
The officer has two choices at that point. He takes a chance that he doesn’t get to go to his family, or the other guy doesn’t’ go home to his family.
Remember the premise.......
irrelevant to the incident, however
I’d suggest that domestic conflicts in the ‘hood should be allowed to settle themselves out.
There’s apparently no positive societal benefit to sending the PoPo in.
Has it been reported whether a weapon was found in the car?
He also had an outstanding warrant from July 7, 2020 for felony sexual assault which might explain why he didn’t want to stick around.
Just want to caution. The name is the same, and the age would match, but we do not have confirmation that the 2015 arrest is the same person. “Heavy”, when they searched for police records for Jacob, did not find that 2015 incident.
They did find an arrest warrant for him, for several crimes including violent crimes.
The content is he was told to stop ant go to his car. They had no idea why he was going to his car, was it to retrieve a weapon, we’ll never know.
He’d be alive today had the people’s safety department sent a social worker with a clipboard.
I actually don’t care if the cop killed him in cold blood and that in itself is nothing to riot about, or even protest.
That’s because cold-blooded killings will ALWAYS happen, whether they are by cops (which is extremely rare). There are simply too many cops to expect otherwise, same for any large group.
What I want to see how our JUSTICE SYSTEM responds. If the killing is uncalled for, then is the cop punished? If not, then and ONLY THEN do people have a right to be angry - but if so, then justice is served and any other cop who thinks his badge gives him a license to kill will understand what’s in store for him.
But, at this point, the protests have nothing to do with the killings, they’re the excuse. If the issue was this killing, they’d be protesting the LOCAL police, not police in Helena Montana, who have absolutely NOTHING to do with this killing (and likely any recent killing).
What they want are TWO THINGS - (1) Trump to lose, and this is their get out the vote drive since Biden doesn’t connect well with blacks; and (2) and the end of having to worry about police, so they can do as happens in Third World countries. Basically South Africa is their end-game.
