Navy SEAL explains exactly what to do if an angry mob surrounds your car, threatens your family

'If it doesn't look right, it's probably not' What should you do if you're driving your car and you find yourself surrounded by an angry mob?

That's the question that former Navy SEAL Jack Carr answered Friday on Fox News' "Tucker Carlson Tonight." What's the background?

Violent protests and unrest have been commonplace in major cities nationwide since the tragic killing of George Floyd. Though demonstrations have fizzled out in most cities, protests continue in cities like Portland, Seattle, and Chicago.

On Sunday, a shocking video went viral because it showed an angry mob in Portland force a white man out of his wrecked truck; that driver was then brutally assaulted. Fortunately, police have since arrested the suspect.

The situation has left many wondering: With protesters routinely blocking highways and harassing motorists, what exactly should one do if they find themselves in a similar situation? What did Carr say?

Carr explained:

Some of those basics are: Stay in the car, doors closed, locks, locked doors, windows up, and that only allows you some level of protection. It does give you a level of protection but it only goes so far, but the main thing is to avoid those right away.

So, situational awareness. Looking around, being aware that there are threats, picking your head up out of that phone and turning around. If you turn a corner and you see something that doesn't look right — as an army special forces sniper from Vietnam told me years ago — he said, "if it doesn't look right, it's probably not." So trust those instincts and pay attention to that sixth sense that has kept us alive as a species since we've been on this planet. If it doesn't look right, turn around, reverse, get out of there.

But what if you find yourself surrounded by a "violent mob?" According to Carr, one should know how to use their tools of defense.

"So remember, your vehicle is a weapon, but you don't want to be in that position to begin with," he said. "Now, if you do get to that phase where you have to fight, it's good to be prepared and to know how to fight."

And for those with firearms, Carr instructed people to "invest" in firearm training, so they know how to properly use it in a situation where they need to defend themselves or their family.

"Get that training," Carr advised. "For those who are wrestling with the fact that they might have to defend themselves, I always think, 'What if you just appeared here out of nowhere and all of a sudden you were violently attacked by a person or a group of people?' You wouldn't need a piece of paper that told you it was okay to defend this gift of human life."

Well, that's not something that can go on for too long a distance.

I'd say the first thing is to NOT drive home from such an encounter. Do not let chasers find out where you live.

Instead, drive to a well-lit business, gas station, restaurant, etc., and then stay in a well-lit and visible location until the police arrive.

I'm female. Tell your female friends and relatives my story. In my younger years, 😊, I went through a situation late at night when I was coming home from work, on a quiet suburban street, the car ahead of me slammed on its brakes, forcing me to stop suddednly, immediately three young punks ran back to my car and began banging on my closed Windows and screaming for me to open up. The driver stayed in his car. Obviously a threatening situation. I went into some kind of shock. Couldn't move. My drivers side window was coming loose. Then my self defense training kicked in. I looked the guy at my window square in the eyes and I hope my face communicated my resolve to kill him. I reached under my seat and the punks probably figured I was going for a gun. It was my umbrella with a nasty three inch point but they were gone and didn't see it. I was going to jam it in his eye when the window gave. The three guys run back to car ahead of me and the driver reverses and car comes rushing back to my front bumper. They brake just in time, but it's enough to terrify me into not doing anything. They go off while I'm memorizing licence plate. I quickly realized it I had to do it again, I would go into reverse and drive like maniac away, or thru people's yards. Hit reverse and remove myself from immediate danget. I reported license plate to police, two cops came to my family's home and said the car belonged to a local family where kids were trouble but unless I could identify them, they couldn't charge them. I was still in a bit of shock and I had no clear image of their faces, just that they were long haired screaming, so no charges. The police did give us the family's name so my Dad started to talk to their neighbors, everybody said they were bad news, one person claimed they stole and killed their cat out of spite, They said cops wouldn't do anything because no body of cat as evidence. A car began stopping outside our home late at night then driving off. My Mom begged my Dad to let it drop because it was making her sick, so he did. We went to our Justice of Peace and when she began questioning me, I began weeping hysterically. my loss of control surprised me, I hadn't thought it affected me that badly but it did. JP told us same thing police did, so no justice.

Based on their non response to the violence as well as the complete acquiescence to despotic mandates which are destroying millions of lives and businesses, I am convinced the people are, by and large, fully converted to sheep.

For the last month or more I am the only person in Kroger to be sans mask. This is a small town, if you want groceries you go to Kroger or Walmart. So it’s pretty much a given that I am damn near the only person in town defying King Andy.
