The witch hunt is on! I'm not going to be bullied into being a political prisoner for my beliefs. I have fought hard for these freedoms and the SDNY is on a all out assault to take down every Trump insider from the 2016 election, that means Bannon. They will ruin innocent peoples lives in order to have a war trophy pinned to the wall just before elections.
I've obtained one the best super lawyers around who isn't afraid to fight back at the politically motivated assaults against me. This is where the line of freedom is drawn. If you allow the weaponized apparatus to win, we lose freedom. They will go after anyone for anything they want, anytime.
They wont ever investigate their friends like the Clinton Foundation. They've targeted Trump's inner circle- Flynn, stone, Manafort, Cohen and now Bannon. If it walks like duck, quack likes a duck, its a duck. We cant let the weaponized judicial system take anymore political prisoners.

Good response. Are the prosecutors of the SDNY a bunch of corrupt, political activists doing whatever they can to advance their cause and destroy Trump? Yes, of course. Do they have the goods on Bannon et al in this indictment? They do and any moron who bothered to read the indictment would understand it.

This is got to be one of the most naive posts I’ve ever seen on FreeRepublic. That’s not how anyone with an ounce of sense would handle this. When the Feds come after you you shut your damned mouth and hire a lawyer. You don’t say a damned thing your lawyer doesn’t allow you to say. Period.
This isn’t a slip and fall case. This is the Feds going after people associated with the President that the Deep State despises.
Your simplistic assessment is not remotely applicable in ths case.

You might be surprised at how often this piece of advice gets ignored.
I once had cops pounding the door almost off the frame. Scared the crap out of me. When they finally convinced me that they were real cops I went outside. Told them I had no idea who they were talking about...and they werent coming inside unless they had a warrant.
Not sure what would have happened had they not got a radio message while I was standing outside. technically, they could have burst in under exigent circumstances since someone was on the run and they thought the person was in my house.
Its easy to know WHAT to do but not always easy in the middle of it to do what you know you should do.

I read the indictment and it was pretty damning, but then I started to think about what I know about Bannon. He is not just smart , but by most sources is considered a genius. The things recited in the indictment were not the actions of a man with Bannon’s intelligence. Something does not feel right to me. Is it possible that they were set up by an insider working with the SDNY?
I think we should throw Thomas “Stonewall” Jackson, Nathan Bedford Forrest, and James Longstreet at him; then just WATCH HIS HEAD EXPLODE!

They had no idea who it was..until he made a mistake.
Bannon’s first mistake was involving so many people in his scheme. people who were too stupid to realize they shouldnt be sending texts about their conspiracy.
But he should have been able to set up a more elaborate scheme of money laundering. This is where I wonder if he is an alcoholic and his senses were dulled.
Or perhaps he was just so arrogant he thought he would never be caught.
