A radio station in Cleveland fired a news anchor this week after her referred to Democrat Kamala Harris as the nations first colored vice presidential candidate, according to reports.
Anchor Kyle Cornell, 26, used the description of Harris in a news promo spot that aired during WTAM radios broadcast of a Cleveland Indians baseball game, Cleveland.com reported.
Some baseball fans quickly posted negative reactions on social media, Cleveland's WKYC-TV reported.

So, if you say “of color” you’re OK, but if you say “colored” you’re destroyed?
Someone needs to publish a book on the new rules of speech. The words that get you fired or suspended. Obviously there’s a new game in town, and its rules cannot be ignored. It seems like a good idea to have a dictionary of all the words that you are not allowed to say. Unless you’re a member of a specially-privileged government-certified victim group, and then you can say anything and kill Whites and get away with it.
What’s the difference?
A fat and ugly racist producer that fires those whom she opposes and then pats herself smugly on the back
He ought to SUE them. We have to start fighting back at this lunacy.
Thanks for the historical reference. Also with DNA ancestral testing now more prevalent nt there may have been others using the Warren standard
The MSM if it recognized your excellent reference they would immediately come back with female.
Id counter by saying any male fitting the Warren standard really self identified as female but was oppressed at that time and now is the time to set history correct.
After all WE need to open our minds.

I noticed the irony about 15 years ago when Oprah and others started using the phrase ‘people of color’ while castigating others as racists for using the term ‘colored’.
I gave up trying to figure out how they wanted to refer to themselves eons ago. I recall it going from colored to Negro to Afro-American to African America to Black to People of Color. That seems like full circle. And the more recent black to Black.
I’m really confused, doesn’t NAACP stand for Negros Are Actually Colored People?
Kamala refers to herself as Black.
She is lying.
@DanScavino
(To artists, black is considered a color, white is generally not.)
I trained to be a bio-medical illustrator. I loved drawing from life Bridgman. I eventually bailed to computer graphics. There we were exposed to additive color theory (if memory serves).
Check back next week for the latest updates from the Online Woke Dictionary. :)
There is no logic in any of this. The left has made speech a trap for Whites. Anything a White says or does, or doesn’t say or doesn’t do, can be branded as racist, and the White is automatically guilty.
You are not allowed to mention what NAACP means, or United Negro College Fund. You are White, and so you are racist and slated for elimination.
No no no. How racist can you get? /s
“person of color” is ok
“colored person” not ok
*********
In the South (don’t know about the North) the only people we knew as “colored” were AA....even though we had NA in our midst, they were not considered “colored”. Even people with darker complexions like Mexicans were not considered colored long ago..only AA. That is just the way it was.
I think it is now an insult to say “colored people”. I know as a Southerner from a liberal college town, I do cringe when I hear “colored people”.
I find it typical that the Left has included everyone who is slightly tan as a colored person.
This is the other definition of hate speech (or is it “speech hate”?):
One who hates speech, as in this case WTAM Radio Station.(WTAM Radio hates speech. Of all people to hate speech: a radio station! Go figure.)
There is an old Doonesbury strip where the man is talking to his mother. She says colored, he says no, people of color. They are people of color so colored people.
You should know that colored is racist and forbidden. But of color is noble and strong. Get with it.
