I understand that. I was alluding to their utopia fantasy.

In his “Commentaries On The Constitution”, Joseph Story spells out why we have a 2nd Amendment.

It might, I suppose be Redacted by a Congressional Resolution...

You are aware those are non-binding resolutions, right?

Nonsense on its face. Faux News playing games

Have to be approved by 2/3 majority in both houses of Congress and ratified by 3/4 of the states. If anyone think that’s happening over this they are smoking some good stuff.

They gave obama and McCain and by extension Cruz and Rubio Natural Born cards which effectively gives anyone in the world status to run tor the American Presidency. The question will never be raised again. It is effectively excised from the Constitution.
"Non Binding" as a phrase has become quaint.
I would not be surprised if something similar happens to the 1st and 2nd if the Democrats get the House, Senate, and the Presidency.Somebody that steals dimes will not be averse to stealing dollars, especially if all the witnesses just say, "Ho hum, just politics."

What part of 'non-binding resolution' is unclear? All they say is that in the opinion of the Senate or the House, and nobody else, that McCain was a natural born citizen. There was never a similar resolution for Obama. Show only. No basis in law. Completely unenforceable.

No similar resolution was needed for Obama because Obama said he was a natural-born citizen, the Democrats said he was a natural-born citizen, tens of millions of voters said he was a natural-born citizen. You don't say he was a natural-born citizen? So what? Your opinion or my opinion doesn't matter a whit. The only opinion that matters on this question is the Supreme Court's and they have never definitively ruled on the matter.
