Bosses demand the right to sack workers who refuse coronavirus vaccine

Bosses are demanding the right to sack workers who refuse the coronavirus vaccine when one becomes available.

Small businesses are rallying together to push for the right to fire those who refuse the vaccine as it will not be made compulsory.

In Australia, Prime Minister Scott Morrison announced the signing of an agreement with pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca Australia to secure the promising Oxford University vaccine candidate, reports Daily Mail.

With this, the Australian government hopes the country will be able to get the vaccine early next year.

The government reportedly wants 95% of people nationwide to get the vaccine.

Although the Prime Minister aims to make the jab "as mandatory as possible'," it will not be made compulsory.

"If one of my staff members says, "no, I'm against it", then I'm going to have to say, I'm sorry then, you are a threat to my business," Council CEO Peter Strong told 7News.

"If you don't sack them, you don't have a business, especially if you're in a high contact area where you've got a lot of customers. It's not discrimination, that's a business decision," he added.

This is in Australia which is a testing ground for the US. They'll do the same here if we allow it.

While I think such employers are asses, it’s a private business.

I think businesses should be able to fire people for whatever reason they want.

I fire Democrats, once I figure out they are Democrats. I’m coy about it, mind you. But there is no place for people who me and my countrymen dead at my place of employment.

I’m not against businesses doing what they need to do to survive and protect themselves.

But holding a gun to the head of good performing individuals otherwise who won’t get a Gov’t mandated vaccine is a bit extreme.

There is also major hypocrisy involved. Like firing a tranny who is HIV positive would get major negative press these days, but they are a clear & present health risk to the business no?

"Bosses are demanding the right to sack workers who refuse the coronavirus vaccine when one becomes available."

On another thread where Fauci in the article said the vaccine would not be mandatory. I replied this is how the government would make it mandatory without declaring so--by putting up businesses to mandate it via back channels.

What about the flu. Probably just a deadly.

Only 45 percent of Americans get their annual flu vaccine.

And experts admit that the flu vaccine reduces flu by only 40 to 60%.

Is Australia going to mandate flu vaccines too?

Most states have religious exemptions for invasive procedures like vaccinations. I would hope that we continue to allow for freedom of conscience. That said, I would not be surprised if the Taney Roberts Court adjudicated our rights away. Regardless, we will follow Christ Jesus and our conscience!

This is a take on the old, “if you want to keep your job, have sex with me.” You don’t have to have sex with him, but if you want to keep your job it becomes part of the contractual relationship and you’ll have to do it, since he has the right to fire anybody at will.

Oh How did we ever survive before the cough virus that affects octogenarians? How did we ever start businesses and conduct commerce. Praise you Bill Gates...we worship you Fauci for saving us!! Glory to the CDC and WHO for their mercy and grace to us little ones. We are weak, but they are strong!!!

I see a black market proof of vaccine network in China. They do a great fake ID business already for college students.

Sounds like it's time for Australians to demand ALL their politicians get EVERY vaccine and release all their medical records to the public.

It's for the children you know.

I think businesses should be able to fire people for whatever reason they want.

You are free to think that, but it is not the law, and it has not been for a very long time.

Won’t happen here because we’re up to our eyeballs in lawyers.

We’ll probably have four or five new pandemics before the last appeal winds it’s way through the courts.

Employers in the united states can fire employees for many reasons. It’s the law. It’s a conservative, free market tenet.

I agree it is bad business.

My point is businesses should run their businesses as they see fit. The employment market is a market like any other. If they are too unreasonable, people vote with their feet.

“’I think businesses should be able to fire people for whatever reason they want.’”

“You are free to think that, but it is not the law, and it has not been for a very long time.”

In right to work states, it is pretty much still that. The exceptions being protected classes: race, religion, disability, and if you served in the US military.

(The last one being the most important to conservatives — liberals are very prone to firing veterans.)

Joe will the boss know if you’ve been vaccinated?

Will you have to present a vaccination certificate?

Or can the boss just scan you for your implanted chip?
