“Where he will be making money is with his Semi truck sales to fleet buyers”.

You’re joking. Right? There is no battery that can compete with a diesel engine. Period. There isn’t a long haul fleet trucking company on earth that will trade their diesel fleet for a battery-powered tractor.
You might get some Virtue Signalling short-haul trucking companies whose owner is a New Green Deal sort to take such a chance. But, there aren’t many of those around.
Starlink? I agree. This is a sure thing due to the demand for the internet in remote areas where the cable isn’t justified or, where the cable isn’t even feasible.
Robotaxi’s? LOL. The only way those will ever be feasible is if you make all vehicles autonomous. As long as humans are allowed behind the wheel of vehicles our total unpredictability makes any advantage of Robo-Vehicles mute. No computer program is capable of dealing with the complete unpredictable behavour of humans.

In this time period his spike in wealth is because of Tesla stock going up 300% since the first of the year.

Well, to be fair to Tesla they do have a number of fleet companies that have made reservations for Tesla Semis. Among them are UPS, Pepsi, Sysco, Budweiser, JB Hunt, Loblaws, Walmart, NFI Industries, DHL Supply Chain, and Asko. Not saying they're big fleet purchases, but they are making sales, which are bound to grow over the next ten years. Diesel fleets will continue to be king for some time to come. But Tesla will make money on Semi sales.

Short-haul local deliveries from local distribution centers to stores. Again, this is corporate virtue signaling.
The cost of Tesla trucks in relation to the cost of smaller diesel is not justified. These buys are Virtue Signaling buys not based in dollars and cents but, political correctness.

“That said, Tesla is one seriously overpriced stock. The market presence in the big picture of the auto industry does not justify that stock price. Not even close.”

What’s incredible even now with the stock price at $2000 you can sell Jan 2022 puts with strike prices of $15,$50 and $100 for good money.

Yep. Always love watching this video of two Falcon 1st Stage units landing. NASA, the Russians and the Chinese can’t do this. Musk had the vision and the drive and hired the best team to make it happen. Give him credit for that.

Pal of Epstein. They were eugenics club buddies. This is hearsay as I haven’t tracked it down.

Maybe you should have included Tesla, the man he named his car company after?

What I find amazing is that he came from South Africa, a country villainized and cajoled by the left until they gave into all of their demands and turned the reigns over to communist despots who have decimated the country. 95% of the white people in South Africa had roots that went back hundreds of years while 95% of the blacks had immigrated in more recent times to escape the total abject poverty and extreme violence endemic in the rest of the continent.

since stepping down from Microsoft he’s been running his charity, the Bill and Melinda Gates foundation. They have done a lot of good such as helping stop malaria and AIDS, Agriculatural development.

they’ve done bad like supporting planned parenthood.

Musk made a huge amount of money as a cofounder of Paypal and instead of resting on his laurels he reinvested in companies based on his vision for the future and worked tirelessly to give them the best chance to succeed. His great wealth also has a lot to do with a large percentage of the public and the government buying into the climate change scam with few other options for investment in “alternative energy” schemes that actually produce viable products.

The others you mentioned also had a work ethic and vision which allowed them to profit from fortuitous circumstances. Let's not forget that it was Edison who said, “Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. Great accomplishments depend not so much on ingenuity as on hard work.”

Tesla, the person you forgot to mention, who was the true genius who made possible the industrialization of AC Power and all the peripheral break throughs that we now are blessed with died basically penniless and nearly forgotten. I am not convinced that massive wealth is a true indicator of genius.

It would be safer to say that genius may result in massive wealth.

About the only things about him that are not total lefty are his "take the red pill" tweet, his entrepreneurship, and his (kinda nutty) drive to COLONIZE (egad!) Mars. After the Austin city council's latest antics, Musk should rethink the location of his next US vehicle manufacturing plant.
