We watched it recently with our almost 10 yo grandson. He’s super smart but we still thought it might be over his head, but he loved it! We followed up with Dumb & Dumber, which was another big hit. Now I’m just waiting a few years to show him Blazing Saddles and my work will be done. 🤣

In the original, the scene where Barbara Billingsly talks to the 2 mice Negro gentlemen and they tell her they do not want help, her response was “nigga don’ wan’ no he’p, nigga don’ get no he’p.”

NOT “sucka!” That was edited in about 25 years ago — the original, which might be on VHS or maybe Betamax, is lost to history.
