What do these three nights of the Democratic National Convention tell us about how the Biden campaign intends to win the election? Last night’s proceedings made it clear the Bidenites have settled on one single word: Women.
Polls show Biden’s margin of support with women is somewhere between 17 and 29 percentage points, while he is either tied or slightly behind Trump with male voters.

The headline makes my skin crawl.
Yeah, Biden does seem to go ‘all in’ on women, AND little girls.
I’m sure Biden is ahead with women overall, however, what about specific groups of women?
I recall from 2016, that Trump carried the votes of two groups of women : White women, and married women.
Single women and minority women voted strongly for Hillary, and will vote strongly for Biden.
Black women vote 95+% for Democrats anyway, so adding Kamala to the ticket is not going to get much incremental additional support from black women voters.
I know we would all need a spreadsheet to analyze cross tabs of voters supporting candidates to keep track of it all. Just saying, Democrats will win the votes of women overall, but specific types of women are not necessarily going to vote en masse for him.
I talk to a lot of old ladies (I’m an old guy) and a lot of them say they are voting Democrat, but not a one of them can tell me why. You’d think they dvr Rachel Madcow and play her back nonstop. They exhibit no common sense or logic. I call them lost causes.
Some of those old ladies may be thinking they are voting for the Democrat party of JFK or Hubert Humphrey. Or even Jimmy Carter.
Not everyone follows politics or the political party stands on issues very closely. Some of these ladies may be thinking they’ve always voted Democrat, so they should always vote Democrat.
I’m a married white female evangelical Trump voter— I fit the typical Trump demographic except that I have a master’s degree and am also a federal employee who lives in the SF Bay Area...you just never know.

I notice the same thing. Old ladies seem to dislike Trump strongly. My mom is the exception, but she said her cohorts are hopeless.
if you got an audience, replace their Rachel Madsow with you. Start your own real like talk show. Talk about things they like and then ease them into common sense. They just want some one to tell them sweet nothings and then ram it down all bad like, just like madsow.
