Sorry. I struck a nerve. Yes, there are men who vote democrat at the drop of a hat with no clue as to why. I go up to Minnesota a lot. People vote because of party name. DFL - Democrat Farm Labor.
I had to unfriend a Minneapolis family member because she was in hysterics over the protest riots and fires in her neighborhood. “We’re all gonna die!” Then our President forces the democrat governor to employ the national guard, and she did a complete 180. “That so and so in the White House is going to kill the peaceful protesters!” she opined, “We’re all gonna die!” I asked her if she preferred to die at the hands of “peaceful protesters” or live at the hands of uniformed military. She went ballistic.
If Joe Biden gets crushed in the election, they would see that they’ve gone too far left and they may run a moderate candidate in 2024. McGovern was leftist but got trounced in ‘72. So you saw Democrats win with Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton, both Southern Democrats.
