How ya doing, Pro? enjoying retirement still?
Hope your weather has cooled some.
Are things opening up on your side of the state, or must you still go underground to get a hair cut?

Doing well, Kathy, retirement is good but I do still try and keep busy, just slower in my old age, LOL.
We've cooled off a bit and I can go (legally) to get a haircut but our restaurants are still only order/pick-up or outside dining. 🤬

Ether one sounds amazing. I haven’t had ice cream in a while, except for a sip of hubby’s milk shake the other day. Vanilla. He doesn’t care for choklit. What’s he THINKIN’!!
I’m thrilled for you that you have gotten some much needed rain. Everything has to look prettier because of it. We’ve only had 7.5” for the year. NOT happy with that.

I settled for ice cream. It isn’t as rich and since I was still a little full from supper, I went the easy route. LOL! I need to go to bed early because the “R” women’s group meeting is tomorrow and that cake sits for a while.
In a way you’re lucky your hubby doesn’t like choklit. Any in the house is YOURS. Sometimes I hide choklit goodies so Hubby can’t eat them all. LOL
It’ll take more rain than we got to make things look prettier but at least they’ll stay alive. The grass is pretty brown around here and a lot of trees have yellow leaves. But the cotton has more flowers opened up and my sinuses feel it.
Only 7.5 inches this year? That IS dismal, isn’t it? I’m surprised y’all aren’t ablaze like CA.

Our restaurants were open again for inside dining, but the prog mayor closed them again. Even took two of them to court to shut them down. Now we are back to pick-up or outside dining. Many are not going to make it.

Good decision! You’re right! I can have Hersey Kisses hanging out and they don’t get stolen. LOL!
I’m surprised we haven’t had bad fires. We HAVE had some small ones, but they didn’t spread far. Thank GOODNESS!

I hide most of the candy but will put a bag in the snack cabinet once in a while for him to eat. If he wants more than I buy, he’s a big boy and can buy more himself. LOL
Glad to know the fires that HAVE broken out there haven’t been too bad. I feel so bad for the folks in CA who are dealing with the monsters ravaging the state. I missed seeing it ‘live’ but watched Steve’s stream from this morning about the fires around Vacaville. What a terrifying experience.

Thanks for the link. I couldn’t find his new channel last night when you told me about it.
I’ve been keeping tabs on the brewing storms, wondering where they’ll go - - especially the one they call “Thirteen”.
