This cannot be real. Did two hours of watching the Democratic National Convention cause me to lose my mind? President Trump was blamed by one woman for causing her father's death from COVID. Yeah, she used his dead body to score political points, I'm sure that's what he—a Trump supporter—would have really wanted. Bernie tried to get the progressive base excited for Joe; it wasn't convincing. And then we have the loser brigade, some no-name Republicans who are throwing their support behind Joe Biden. John Kasich is also doing that—forever cementing himself as the Benedict Arnold of the Republican Party. Well, at least for this cycle, he's decided to fill the role.

Kasich did that four years ago when as governor he snubbed attending the Republican National Convention being held in his own state, just because of his TDS.

Need to keep their base uplifted and need to down-play the possibility of Pres Trump’s re-election to Pres Trump’s followers.
A lot of registered democrats have purchased guns/ammo for the first time in their lives and the Institutional democrats are scared that those new gun/ammo buyers will either sit it out or vote for Pres Trump and likewise Republican down the ticket this time.
To be fair, this version of Perry mason is supposed to be a ‘prequel’ to the LAWYER Perry Mason, when he was a Private Investigator during the Depression.
I don’t much care for it, that and the DARK NOIR type of filming is annoying on a HD big screen TV.....................
The Democrats do have a problem.

(and of course they have the “historic” first senile Presidential candidate—not sure if that is a feature or a bug... :-) ).
CNN took care of that by taking their poll from a 15 point Biden lead to a 4 pt lead and only ONE point in battleground states. Made sure dates of poll were from before COMMIE-la announcement.
Now they can take it right back up to 15 points next week and show a DOUBLE DIGIT bounce from COMMIE-la VP and Convention.

Hollywood couldn’t rescue this even if they were involved to begin with.....they don’t have the clout they once thought they did. In fact few want to even hear from them at any level.

You could say that about the entire convention. This format is a political wonk's wet dream: absolutely everything scripted, vetted, and trimmed for presentation. No surprises, no spontaneity, no mistakes. Everything you see is there because somebody approved it. And the people who approved it are Dem staffers so out of touch with the real world that they thought Gropin' Joe would be a good idea and that the song would conflate BLM thuggery with the 60's protest movements. Joe isn't the only one in dire need of sedation.
It looked like a really bad YouTube video some guy got his wife to edit.
