Italy is averaging 5 deaths a day, that's looking pretty good compared to what we are seeing, over a 1000 a day. Even adjusted for population, we look bad in comparison.
You don’t quarantine well people. This would have passed by now. I never hear anything out of her or Fauci’s mouth about “special care” for older folks...especially in nursing homes. Cuomo....are you listening?
How much of a voluntary pay cut is she taking?
Hopefully Brix will join Fauci the Fraud in Federal Prison.
I’d be satisfied if she and Fausti were retired pronto.
They've really offered nothing but fear.
I just saw those people on the right at the farmers market.
They were in line for...corn.
She reads the scripts provided to her, just like Dr. Faux.
Nothing preventing Debbie DoRight from moving to Italy.
Just stop.
Brix knew nothing like that would fly in the USA. Nor will it in the future.
Pull NY, Jersey, etc. out of the mix and that number is cut in half. Add HCQ into the mix and it is cut in half again.
Go stuff one of those scarfs in your mouth ya dingbat!!
Democrats are evil scum.
scarves? I dunno......anyway put it in your mouth
Gosh, me too and to think I was so stupid that I wanted to grow up fast......such good memories growing up in that time.
Absolutely nothing. Viruses are going to do what they do. All you can do is slow the spread. And clearly we slowed the spread enough because of the hundreds of millions of dollars wasted building emergency hospitals that were never even used.
And what about all that hoopla about ventilator shortages and President Trump getting GM to manufacture ventilators? Clearly it's President Trump's fault for forcing those manufacturers to build ventilators that weren't needed! The Washington Post just today tells us about Trump's stupid decision to force car companies to make ventilators.
Months into a $3 billion U.S. effort to manufacture tens of thousands of ventilators to stave off coronavirus deaths, the government stockpile is facing a glut.Should President Trump get credit for invoking the Defense Production Act to get all those ventilators made in no time at all? Of course not! He should have KNOWN in April that the approach to treating COVID-19 would change and they weren't going to be needed. Maybe if he had consulted Fauci and Birx they would have told him that -- after all, they are the smartest health care people in the world.General Motors and Ford by early May began delivering the first ventilators they scrambled to manufacture, in part compelled by President Trumps invocation of the federal Defense Production Act. General Electric, Philips and other manufacturers efforts have delivered more than 94,000 of them to the stockpile, and General Motors plans to soon hand over its business to a counterpart.
During the first weeks of the covid-19 crisis in March, health officials panicked over an anticipated shortage of ventilators, breathing machines that were essential to help keep patients alive. But during the months it took for companies to develop their supply chains, test prototypes and train workers to build them, the approach to treating covid-19 changed.
Does she also wish our infection and death rates looked like Italy’s? She should stick to things she knows about - which increasingly seems to be a very short list.
Time for the whole country to follow the lead of South Dakota. First time you’ll ever hear that.
