A renowned presidential election prognosticator has predicted that former Vice President Joe Biden will defeat President Trump in November.
Historian Allan Lichtman, who correctly called the winner of the popular vote in each election between 1984 and 2012, told The New York Times Wednesday his "Keys to the White House" metric points toward a win for the Democrat and Trump becoming the first one-term president since George H.W. Bush.
"Voters vote pragmatically according to how well the party holding the White House has governed the country," explained Lichtman

***k the keys!
I just Windexed my crystal ball, and it told me that Trump will win 400 electoral votes!
“Allan Lichtman correctly predicted every popular vote winner between 1984 and 2012.”
So frickin’ what? It’s only the Electoral College vote that matters.
1984 to 2012? Wasn’t there an elction in 2016?
As I read the rules on the inside of the box, the winner is NOT the person who wins the popular vote. As far as I can tell, the winner of the popular vote has no bearing whatsoever. There are no tie breakers or special privileges associated with it. So this guy's track record is suspect. I mean did he predict Trump's victory even though he didn't win the popular vote? If so, he sure has a selective way to pick his track record.
HaHaHa...Apparently his perfect acumen failed him in 2016...
And again in 2020.
1984 to 2016 is nine elections.
He got 2 out of 9 wrong. 2000 and 2016
Just because he makes excuses for being wrong doesn’t mean much.
Some of the elections he got right were not really close, even a lay person could predict them correctly fairly easily.
It looks to me like he is close to 50/50 in predicting close races, nothing to boast about.
>who correctly called the winner of the popular vote in each election between 1984 and 2012
missed the important one then!
MA LARK Y
this guy is counting on there being that many dumb voters...
and with all the voter mailers, a win would be suspect and Trump would call them on it.

That’s funny cause other people have said the exact opposite
Well, IF we decided things by the popular vote he might have something.
Professor Who Accurately Predicted 25 out of 27 Elections Predicts a Trump 2020 Win:
yeah too bad for him the winner is based on electoral college votes
i can give a shiite about popular
this is why small states would be forefer drowned out of politics and percentage-wise, so many more americans would be disenfranchised
small states would not have any of their issues or concerns addressed
ever since the cpnstitution they’ve been trying to diminish the power of small states
now us senators are elected by voters, not the state legislatures, generally reflecting the desires of the people AND the state because the majority party would choose them and get them into office
so the states’ voice in fedgov were taken away
now they want to destroy the electoral college, which takes far more power away from small states affecting presidential elections
we are not a direct democracy and we made provisions that small states would still have influence as much as large states, in the us senate area, and through the electoral college when it comes to the president
Two words....
Dole/Kemp
If lickman is wrong will he now go away
Unmitigated Bullshit. Wonder how much he was paid to spout this crap?
If a good number of blue city people realized the shi**y leadership they’ve been voting in sucks and start voting red in large numbers, say goodbye to the popular vote push.
