The underlying legal quandary facing business owners and other employers is going to bring this whole thing crashing down.

1. Government bureaucrat determines that wearing face masks is mandatory due to “public health concerns.”

2. Employer requires employees to wear masks in the workplace as a result of the government edict.

3. Employees refuse to show up for work — on the grounds that their workplaces are inherently dangerous.

This is exactly what is happening with so many school districts all across the country, and it’s why I may be in a tiny minority here who actually supports the teachers who refuse to come to school.

A government can’t have it both ways. If you spend all your time promoting fear-mongering among the general public, you can’t blame them when they take your idiocy at face value.

Doesn’t surprise me. Our community just cancelled our neighborhood thanksgiving meal that is held the first Sunday of November. I always look forward to it.

Yeah. Most of us don’t wear one in our homes.

The uproar over masks is beyond silly.

Wear them when you’re in a rare situation where there is probably airborne virus.

I seriously doubt we’ll have severe outbreaks in Easter that could be helped by masking LOL!
So does any reasonable person, but any silly thing said about masks gets clicks...

Well, that’s just what he says today. Tomorrow he’ll say that masks are not all that effective. Then the day after that he’ll say that only short people should wear masks.

As I short person myself, I’ll be suitably alarmed by that last directive.

I had a similar experience at the casino recently. Every other slot machine shut down. Half the normal number at the blackjack tables. It was a fun time and surprisingly I came out a little ahead at the end of the night.

But the dress code has gone really downhill. Even in the workplace. I haven't put on a tie and jacket since March. Mostly I work at home in shorts and Hawaiian shirts. But some of the others are incredibly sloppy.

Obesity is on the rise. Plenty of food available. I insist on getting out to walk at least an hour a day so I've been maintaining my weight.

I think this realization hit companies like Walmart several months ago. They had to have visions of a day when none of their employees showed up for work.

The bigger problem comes when these employees start filing successful disability claims over “workplace anxiety” and other similar mental health issues.

I could easily see SSDI claims in the trillions of dollars within the next 2-3 years.

Most people will probably be vaccinated by then--the only realistic route to "herd immunity." Herd immunity by spreading the disease psychopath/Democrat style would take too long.

Anyway, don't vote for Biden. He agrees too much with blue states like Michigan.

Biden calls for mandate requiring all Americans to wear masks

Former Vice President Joe Biden on Thursday called for a nationwide mask mandate to help fight the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Every American should be wearing a mask when they’re outside for the next three months at a minimum,” Biden told reporters in Wilmington, Del.

30 days to slow the spread becomes 360 days

Don't worry, it will go even longer. Until the day Americans unite and tell them to screw their dictatorial orders with mass civil disobedience (at least) they will never give up their emergency powers and their demands that we bend the knee ... or else.

Where I live I may finally have to break down and get a mask. Will be demanding it for using the bus on August 24.

Start now. People take courage from each other. I do not wear one, have not worn one, will not wear one. I _do_ have one down around my neck. Dirty looks, but that’s all and not only am I not alone, I see cashiers without them and everyone knows they don’t do squat, but are about control.

Walmart employees have been told to wear them indefinitely and some are looking for other jobs.

Try it. You will survive. I am “vulnerable grandma” and I am fine. Do not protect me. Protect what matters: America.

Is this the same Dr that said On April 7th “masks can be helpful to some degree” and “wearing a mask after a few hours can get moist and grow bacteria” All this said at the height of the pandemic.— Timcarmom (@timcarmom) August 14, 2020

Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ron Grifka, joined WOOD Radio to talk about wearing masks, minimizing in-person visits and why social distancing is important over the next several weeks to help the #COVID19 virus die down. DR. RON GIFKA...EXPOSED!!! Didn't think masks were so great in April. "Cloth masks not the same filtering as a surgical. Masks can grow bacteria and viruses. If you touch the mask then now the mask is contaminated. A mask doesn't absolve you from any viruses in the air."

Next Easter:

We still have no cure for Covid but we have developed a method to surgically attach a mask to faces at birth so babies will get used to them by adulthood.

“...30 days to slow the spread becomes 360 days....”

THAT little, treasonous, commie, PIAPS-loving SOB right there, needs to be arrested, tried for mass murder & crimes against humanity, and executed, preferably by public hanging.

“As much as I hate to say it, we’re probably going to be wearing masks until maybe Easter,” Grifka said. “By that time, we’ll see the end of the respiratory season from winter to spring of next year.”

Sure. Just like this year, right?
