WASHINGTON (AP) A former FBI lawyer will plead guilty to making a false statement in the first criminal case arising from U.S. Attorney John Durhams investigation into the probe of ties between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign. The case against Kevin Clinesmith is likely to be cheered by President Donald Trump and his supporters as they look to the Durham investigation to lift Trumps wobbly reelection prospects and to expose what they see as wrongdoing as the FBI opened an investigation into whether the Trump campaign was coordinating with the Kremlin to sway the outcome of the 2016 election.

Ex-FBI lawyer to plead guilty in Durhams Trump-Russia probe
Low hanging fruit.
“A former FBI lawyer will plead guilty to making a false statement in the first criminal case arising from U.S. Attorney John Durhams investigation into the probe of ties between Russia and the 2016 Trump campaign.” Then he’ll be told to not do that anymore.
And that’s a wrap!
Maybe he rolled on some of the bigger fish.
ppfffftttt (as opposed to “boom” ... so far, anyway)
I expect 1yr probation and he keeps his law license.
I’m glad that there was not a shred of editorializing in that article.
Punish the monkeys, let the organ-grinders go.
Never heard of a wobbly landslide before. Hahahaha.
Mark, is that you?
GREAT song...and pickin’!!!
I remember some people in FreeRepublic said that there would be no indictments. This is a minor player but hopefully this will lead to bigger players.
That "fruit" had already dropped to the ground. Next they'll be inditing McCabe who even the FIB says lied repeatedly. I bet they make them say five Hail Marys and promise not to do it again.
Justice will only be complete when Brennan is hanging high.
Clinesmith is being charged in federal court in Washington and is expected to plead guilty to one county of making a false statement, his attorney Justin Shur told The Associated Press.

So is changing an e-mail considered a “false statement”
he did he drop that potential charge because he lied in another matter?
So this is the news from Durham we’ve been hearing about? Yawn.....
Agree 100%
Well, landslides happen when land becomes wobbly... LOL
