Billionaire bond fund manager Jeffrey Gundlach believes the polls are wrong and that President Trump will win a second term in the White House.

“Will Joe Biden beat Donald Trump in November? I don’t think so,” Gundlach, CEO and chief investment officer of Los Angeles-based DoubleLine Capital, which has $148 billion in assets under management, said in a webcast on Tuesday evening, according to Bloomberg.

He added that a “highly toxic political environment” makes the polls “very, very squishy.”

A RealClear Politics average of national polls showed Biden, who was vice president in former President Barack Obama’s administration, leading by 7.3 points on Wednesday. The margin in key battleground states that will decide the election was tighter, with Biden up 4.3 points.

While the impact of Biden choosing Sen. Kamala Harris of California as his running mate isn’t yet reflected in the polls, Gundlach believes she is “a little too charismatic” and wasn’t a good choice. …

Gundlach’s political forecasts don’t always turn out to be correct. He told FOX Business last year that Biden was a “placeholder type of candidate” and there was “no way” he would secure the nomination.

So in other words this is another prediction to be taken with a grain of salt.

Getting Covid-19 taken care of and making the mayors/governors responsible for the riots between now and October and lowering expectations of the USPS to handle such a job should do away with their “desire” to do mail-in ballots.

When I worked for the USPS, the Inspectors kept a very close eye on political mailings and absentee ballots, local, state and national. Our facility was swarming with them and they've been known to tail Mail Contractors and carriers on their routes. I've heard of a few postal workers and supervisors fitted with "silver bracelets" and escorted out for messing with political mailings. Let's hope the Inspection Service exercises extra due diligence with the mail in ballots.

Another reason why democrats want mail-in ballots is because it is in their states and in their cities where most of the rioting is happening (mostly because they encouraged it) and now they may be concerned that their democrats may not feel safe to go to the polls and vote.

I say too bad for them for running their states and their cities so badly.

The Republican Party must ride the wave of mail-in voting and use the system to Republican advantage, or be left behind. There’s plenty of time to make sure every voter leaning our way knows how to go online on their state voters website and apply online for a ballot to be sent to them.
