Democratic lawmakers in Albany are never satisfied: Their party already has a firm lock on the key levers of power, yet last week they moved to solidify that power even more — via an amendment to the state Constitution.
And because they control both houses of the Legislature, the measure sailed through easily, with barely any public input.
The amendment deals with the redistricting process — how new maps, based on the Census, must be drawn and approved. And the changes essentially favor Dems and tie Republican hands, so Democrats will be free to draw lines to their advantage.
Under the plan, minority parties would lose their ability to block partisan district lines. The number of Senate districts would be locked at 63 (the current number) to preserve the Dems’ edge and head off any new GOP-leaning districts. It also requires that residents, regardless of immigration status, be counted — a clear bid to create yet more Dem-leaning districts.

The solid Republican states should do the very same thing and draw districts with Democrat input.
New York may eventually have 100% Dem elected officials in Albany. But they won’t be able to pay their bills because they are driving out all the taxpayers.
Why go to all this trouble? Can’t they just throw Republicans into concentration camps?

Perma-blue Maryland whose state house is more like a club house for Democrats.
We already have 1-party rule. In many parts of the country, NY Republicans are called “Democrats”
The US has had one party rule since 1988.
The would probably need to claim that some riots were started by a TPUSA or #WalkAway video on YouBoob first (2012 reference).

The Constitution no longer applies. The Dems have seen to that.
Antifa and the like are the foot soldiers. The politicians are the commanders.
There is the 'RATchet effect to consider.
This is when 'Rats in Republican states takes redistricting to the courts and win. And Republicans in 'Rat states, if they take redistricting to court, lose.
