Action as in setting the mostly peaceful looters free? What other choice did they have?

The “mayor demands action”???
Here’s an idea: Drop every one of those arrested off at Mayor Groot’s house. Let HER handle the situation she created... personally.

sort of similar to the parents that read too many parenting magazines, never tell their kid no, let them do whatever they want.....and are then surprised when the brats don’t listen to them when they get to jr high school

By action, they mean provide cover for the groups, financing, command and control, lodging accommodations, travel reimbursement, etc.... then yes, they will get right on that.

If she's talking that way then the pollsters must know that the riots are hurting Slow Joe. Expect the Soros money funding the riots to dry up so any remaining rioters will have to go independent and self fund - much like Stalin robbing banks before the Russian Revolution.

Yeah, tell that to ($408,000-Soros financed) Kim Foxx.

Kim Foxx drops more felony cases as Cook County states attorney than her predecessor, Tribune analysis shows
Cook County States Attorney Kim Foxx is dropping felony cases involving charges of murder and other serious offenses at a higher rate than her predecessor, according to a Tribune analysis that comes amid a growing debate over criminal justice reform.
During Foxxs first three years as the countys top prosecutor, her office dropped all charges against 29.9% of felony defendants, a dramatic increase over her predecessor, the Tribune found. For the last three years of Anita Alvarezs tenure, the rate was 19.4%.
In all, a total of 25,183 people had their felony cases dismissed under Foxx through November 2019, up from 18,694 for a similar period under Alvarez.

Yes, Foxx is more likely to prosecute the police for daring to interfere with all of those SJWers looting the city. Why would the police risk anything to stop the rioters when they will never be prosecuted?
