Officers responded to the home in the 800 block of North New Haven Avenue about 1:40 a.m. Friday and found the homeowner bleeding from the head after being pistol whipped.
Another man — believed to be one of two who entered the home while the homeowner, his wife and child were sleeping — was found on the floor in a bedroom with a gunshot wound to the head.
The homeowner said his dog’s barking alerted them to the intruders’ presence. Despite being pistol whipped, the homeowner told investigators he managed to take the gun away and shoot both intruders.

From the first moment of any home invasion, the invader has already lost his right to live. The innocent homeowner has the right to neutralize the invader by any means necessary.
Who is at fault for no background check though? The dead guy or his accomplice? Or is this that famous gun show loop hole.

Hopefully they were the same sons-of-bitches that burglarized my daughter’s home in Sand Springs, while she was visiting us.
Gosh, people willing to break into an occupied dwelling might actually steal, or buy stolen guns!Just imagine it! But your backhanded attempt to restrict lawful gun ownership wouldn’t have salvaged these particular clown criminals....
