The fact that he issued the Executive Orders should tell people the Democrats refused to participate. He said he would be sued, but he was willing to take that chance to help working Americans. He highlighted the pet projects that the Democrats wanted to fund, which have nothing to do with COVID relief. He focused on the facts that Democrats aren't interested in helping the American people, but are more concerned about helping the cities and states that have been poorly governed by the Democrats. I don't know how much further he can shine the spotlight on their unwillingness to negotiate.

What we receive in Social Security should not be considered as income that is taxable.
Actually, it is the federal government paying back our loans to them over the decades with no real interest received on those loans to the feds.
SS payments to us should be tax free at all levels of government from state to federal.

Although I do not agree with the POTUS on the actions of the payroll (FICA) taxes, I tend to agree a bit on his actions in regs to the unemployment.
But WTH was he to do? They are effectively blocking this bill so they can send rebuilding cash to the cities where their scum allowed their scum to demolish.
So, like I said, I sort of agree with him on his actions for the unemployment, but not the FICA tax. It will be collected next tax season anyways I would bet. So what the hell good is a deferment?
How about instead, he eliminate the federal income tax instead? Go to a consumption tax.
Further..why is it so easy to stop the FICA tax and not the income tax? Lets call it for what it is. A scam.
We now have an oligarchy since the congress is incompetent.
