A recent attack, launched by a disreputable leftist attack group run by former Republican operatives, targeted Maine Senator Susan Collins. It labeled her a "Trump stooge," called her a "fraud" of an independent, and asserted that she's "controlled" by the president and Mitch McConnell. This organization supposedly began as a "Never Trump" project, but has morphed into a "Never Republican" outfit aiming to help ensure total Democratic control of government. In no way, shape, or form is it functionally "conservative," as many in the media insist on labeling it. It's a Democratic group, promoting Democratic candidates, in order to install Democratic majorities who will pursue and implement a Democratic policy agenda.

They call themselves Lincoln Republicans. Levin has a better name for them: John Wilkes Booth Republicans.
Should change their name from The Lincoln Project to The Quisling Project.
Or the Lafayette Baker Republicans.
I call them DNC covert moles who were forced out of hiding when the Hilldebeest squandered a sure thing election.
Just can’t make them happy. The libs get some conservs to leave the party and join theirs, and when they act in any way, they’re wrong.

I have a long-time liberal friend who accused the Senate GOP of being mindless Trump puppets two days after a majority of GOP Senators vote for a resolution condemning a move by the POTUS.
He sure doesn’t make the name of this “group” very prominent.
