I’ve always thought that was the biggest cop-out.
They act like this, so I think they’re that, and I’m not going to be a part of their gathering.
There isn’t one Christian who has ever lived that hasn’t been a hypocrite at one time (or hundreds or thousands) in their lifetime.
We’re human too. Impatient, impulsive, impetuous, and all the above. We try not to be, but we fail (1 John 1:8).
So a Christian has treated you bad? Join the club. Happens to me daily.
I figure, for the person who complains that so many Christians are hypocrites, then instead of criticizing, they should practice being a Christian without being a hypocrite and show everyone how it should be done.
Be the one that dares to be different and live out the faith you claim you believe in. Prove to the world that not all Christians are hypocrites.

The little guys in the vineyards toil with little recognition, but they are pillars of their communities.
The administrator of a Christian University is a Pastoral role. Per the Biblical definition he would be a Pastor.

We are called to be part of a community of believers. There are many pastors who stalwart individuals. It is very easy to paint slop with a broad brush.
So why bore us with your perfection?
Why not go proselytize amongst your fellow churchless, doctrineless paragons of virtue?
I mean, you're not seated at the right hand quite yet are you?
