L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti announced that he ordered the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power to cut off the water and electricity to any homes, venues, or businesses in violation of COVID-19 safety measures.
In April, Garcetti enacted a similar order that applied to any non-essential businesses that defied his “Safer at Home” mandate.
The announcement comes just days after Los Angeles police responded to a “gang related” shooting at a large house party in Beverly Crest. According to Garcetti, this order will help limit people’s right to assemble.
“We’ve been clear from the beginning that getting together in groups outside of your household is not permitted, is not allowed. We’ve asked Angelenos not to gather or have parties,” Garcetti began.
“By turning off that power, shutting off that water we feel we can close these places down, which usually are not one-time offenders but multiple-offenders,” he added.

It’s an administrative penalty, it’s not incarceration.
That’s why he thinks he can do this.
His attorneys have certainly staffed it, and they think they can do this, even if it’s over the top.
Will provoke a legal debate on what a legal penalty is for administrative violations, which is a debate long overdue: only legislators should have the power to mandate penalties of any type, since they are accountable to the voters.
Garcetti is too, but he’s executive branch, not legislative.
Will be immediately stayed by a court order pending review after the first lawsuit.

That’s the excuse given today. This is really conditioning the public to accept fascist, illegal actions on the part of the government against innocent citizens.
Once the folks accept this as routine, they move on to turning off your water/electricity/mail/deliveries if you deny climate change, or deny there are 53 genders, or don’t kneel for the anthem.
(Illegal because it’s depriving citizens of something to which they are entitled without due process. The mayor is committing a crime.)
Meanwhile they are allowing members of favored victim groups to steal, burn and murder.
That is a lot of work. Sending the police officers out isn’t efficient either.
Better solution, self guided missiles. Enter the coordinates, push a button problem solved.
What could go wrong.
Also, if they pull your meter, you can use two butter knives to complete the circuit in the panel.

Back in the day, a deprivation of such a fundamental need would have required a court hearing. You know, due process, fourteenth Amendment and all that. Of course, a good liberal judge won’t see it that way.
When the people pull their heads out of their a$$e$ and take action. Until then this will continue to get worse. It took foreign powers to topple Mussolini’s power before the people rose up. We may have to hit rock bottom and lose everything until that happens here. Unless patriots finally rise up and start a second revolution. I really doubt an election can save the union at this point, because we are ever at the precipice of losing it all on the next as long as we allow Marxists to remain in power.
