How is Canada subsidizing it? Canada does not pay full American prices and then subsidizes it for Canadians. Canada negotiates a lower price of bulk purchases for Canadians, so there is no subsidy.

America buying from Canada would be expected to be higher than what Canada paid for, and therefore at least a small profit for Canada.

If anyone here has connections to the White House, could you please tell the President to change his scheduling of these COVID-19 press briefings from 5 PM Eastern time to 6 PM Eastern time?   The Fox show "The Five" at 5 PM is one of the few I like to watch, and he keeps knocking off half of that show every day.   If he changed it to 6 PM, he would knock off Bret Baier on Fox, and that would be good to knock off.

I have Canadian family. The subsidies are for Canadians of older age and of low income to get even cheaper/free drugs. Canadians who don’t qualify for subsidies pay full Canadian prices, which is still substantially cheaper than anything in the US.

You can easily tell the price difference for common high markup items like insulin, viagra/cialis, and prostate medications are still often 10 times cheaper paying full unsubsidized Canadian prices than American prices.
