I agree with your assessment of the Biden-Ryan debate. I remember thinking Ryan had won the debate. Biden was just hurling insults and lies and did it with a chesshire cat evil smile. Biden looked like a clown to me. Still, we have to deal with the news media who will declare Biden the winner regardless.
Good point. Actually, now that I think of it, they should push out all those ballots to the Lefties and encourage them to vote for Biden right now...
Then, when he drops off the ticket, those will be dead-ended votes.
Of course, the Leftist controlled house will pass some bill to say all votes for Biden will be counted towards the Democrat who replaces him, so...I guess not.
COVID gave them perfect Cover had he been able to perform at a minimal capacity
He cant now
Its over
Now they have to figure out what to do. I think they are making the move to push him aside...such as with Brian from CNN asking questions.
Don't be deluded that Slow Joe has any say whatsoever in running mate. He probably doesn't even choose his breakfast anymore.
The Democratic Party has that decision and they plan to insert whoever they choose. It was probably part of the deal back in late February/early March, when all the other main candidates dropped out, leaving Biden to win by default.
I found it curious over the weekend that Brian Stelter of CNN, who is about as much of a hack as you can find, even at that network, surprisingly pressed Biden’s press secretary about when the senile one would hold a full press conference. This may be an effort by the Dem establishment to force Biden out in the next week or so before the convention by outing his dementia. The other thing I find odd is that they keep postponing his announcement of the VP - if they are planning to force Biden out of the race, an announced VP becomes the lead candidate to replace him and this is fraught with political danger from the left and center, what there is of it in the Dem party.
If Biden does indeed have dementia, the best way to expose that would be for Trump to reference a recent event or statement by Biden and make him defend it. Consistent inability to recall recent events is a hallmark of dementia.
That would need to go through the Senate and Trump, or even require a Constitutional amendment.
Biden wasn't all there even when he was VP. He seriously should not have been "one heartbeat away" from the Presidency. He shouldn't be any closer to the Presidency than watching reruns of "The West Wing."
As bad as he was, and as bad as he was on the campaign trail - apparently he is getting worse now? I feel sorry for his family, but that sympathy does not extend to the professional side of his life. He should withdraw, now.
The only way I could see Biden's campaign agreeing to a debate would be to set conditions on it that are so wildly unfair and twist the meaning of "debate" to such a degree that there is no reason for President Trump's campaign to agree to them. In order for Biden's campaign to survive a debate they would have to have at least: no audience, no recordings except the studio's (so their MSM could control the editing), questions provided in advance (so campaign staffers could research and phrase responses), multiple takes on responses by the candidate (so stumblin' bumblin' Joe could have a half dozen takes to get through each answer), answers read from prepared scripts, not live - edited and aired the next day, etc. etc.
No way President Trump's campaign would sign up for this kind of thing just so Joe could be propped up... Unless they intended to violate the agreement - let the Biden campaign have their staged event...then just before the election leak the un-edited audio/video destroying Biden. Of course the "leak" would be blamed on someone in the Biden campaign because they controlled the source material.
Agree. Believe there are elements within the Democratic Party that want to force Biden out of the basement and into the public fray. It would then be clear to his delegates, other Democrats and of course the American people that he is not fit to be President. They will do this if they have a consensus candidate. A highly disciplined, organized cadre, supporting a given individual, may try to force the issue without the cooperation of the Party establisment. If they force Biden out, their guy or gal will slip in and the Party will have no choice but to support that individual . Would think it would be Warren, but doubt she has the courage or burning desire to try. Bill Clinton in his prime would be the sort of person to try to depose Biden at this point. Perhaps Harris.
All those votes wasted when Joe has to drop out ,LOL
Some guy said Biden reminded him of his 80-year-old neighbor who thinks he’s a QVC host and demands to know where his order is. :-)
Yes that would do it. Trump must ensure the rules allow them to question one another at some point. Probably Biden will get MSM questions in advance.
I cannot figure out why the 'rats decided to circle the wagons around Demented Joe. I can only think they must have planned to lose the election all along and decided to throw Biden in as the designated loser. We heard that they didn't want to go with Bernie because he was "too socialist". However, they now have a pandering fool who has embraced everything Bernie stood for and does not know what country he is in. I still don't understand the "strategery".
The Democrat power brokers thought they had a good plan in handing the nomination to Slow Joe in exchange for choosing the other half of the ticket (who would surely become president within 12 months if Biden was to actually win). But those internal polls must not be too promising. Any up-and-comer tying their star to Joe Biden is probably committing political suicide.
Bongino is a former Secret Service agent.
I suspect his source may be an agent assigned to the Biden detail or close to someone who is ...
“What a Sh.t Show the Democrat Party has become.”
Not crazy about your language but boy is that true.
The Demos simply don’t have a decent candidate this time around.
Yes...I thought of that, but it seems like the Constitution isn’t much of an impediment to them in any way anymore...
