We ate near downtown several weeks ago. It was my first experience with CCW. I felt kind of silly because it was so darn peaceful. I won’t feel silly any more.
If American blacks think racism is bad here, let them try Puerto Rico, Mexico, or Colombia for their next trip.

Our idiot Dem state Gov and equally idiotic Dem city mayor (on his last term) have been pretty much letting the protests go on unchecked (there was a period of National Guard and "curfew" that lasted not even a full week and wasn't enforced worth a shit) Add to that our police chief, who was set to retire in June, was fired the day after a shootout between police/NG and protesters (a well known black businessman died in the crossfire. There's differing accounts on who shot first) where it was found out that none of the law enforcement had bodycameras activated.
In short, it's a fucking shitshow here.

A good majority of the businesses downtown have their glassfronts boarded up and its been that way for weeks. Even one of our local radio personalities, Terry Meiners, who leans more liberal, says it looks like a warzone. We already had NFAC (Not F**king Around Coalition) a black militia, marching through downtown on Jul 26 (you may have seen in the news where one of them accidentally discharged their weapon and wounded three of their own) Their leader stated in an interview they’re giving our AG 4 weeks to render justice in the Breonna Taylor case or they’re gonna come back and burn the city down.
