This form of protest is "hugely distasteful" because of the importance of the anthem and flag.. It's something very deep and meaningful to anybody that's served this country..

The only sports I watch are college football/basketball and golf. If either of them go politically-correct, bye bye. People do not watch sports in order to see political garbage. The players can do whatever they want on their own time - just leave the rest of us alone.
