"...It was because the GOP wouldn't meet their demands ..." Ergo when the H8ers go home to campign starting this weekend they'll be able to claim the OMB repubs refused to work with them. We know how this plays out.

The Democrat Party thrives on misery. And much, if not most, of the misery on which it thrives — is misery which the Democrat Party created.

Democrats will correctly say that the Republicans didn’t want to give $600 a week for another half a year. Good. Anyone that lazy to sit home and collect it and wanted for another half year wasn’t voting for Trump anyway.
I hope nothing gets passed. And they go away for a month. They can do no damage when they are away

Democrat: "We will behave in a completely unreasonable fashion until you give in to our completely unreasonable demands."

Republican: "I'm sorry. I'm not willing to do that."

Democrat: "Oh! Oh! Do you people see?? Does everyone see?? These people are INSANE! They refuse to work with us! That's it! No more Mr. Nice Guy! It's time for Revolution until these people stop acting so CRAZY!!"

Democrats are trying to spend AS MUCH $$ as possible. Just like under obama, they want to increase the baseline deficit for Trump’s last year so they can increase spending permanently while APPEARING to cut spending. They also want to bluster about the Trump deficit during the campaign season . . . . more $$ = more deficit

The GOP one week extension was just as ridiculous as the DEM 3 trillion plan.

Problem is no one expects seriousness from the Dems.

I live in Alabama. One thing that I know for sure is if anyone here that is NOT physically incapacitated but is work capable and needs a job but does not have a job....its 100% their choice. Plumbers, carpenters, laborers, construction, machinists, technicians... If someone wants a job its there. Wanna screw off on money from the feds? Fine. Makes my wages go up.

It reminds me of when hussein extended unemployment checks for 99 weeks instead of the usual 26 weeks.

Most people waited until the checks ran out to find work.

Tear the bandaid off now and get on with it. If people get paid to sit on their asses they will sit on their asses until the money stops.

The Democrats want to morph the 600 bucks into a Universal living wage scheme. Its already in place.

Dems been doing that for years, sort of instigated the SPEND it or lose it mindset in Government circles,.

If last years budget was 10 Bill, this years is proposed at 20 Bill and committees/cooler heads prevail with 15 Bill,

The ‘wounded’ will take to the airwaves and accuse the ‘heartless’ other side of CUTTING 5 bill from the operating budget..

Compromise - as we know it - is I want 24000 thou for my car, you want to pay 20000 thou and we settle on 22500.

In LIBSPEAK, if they want to ‘give away’ 30 Bill and the R’s say lets make it 20 Bill, the LIB COMPROMISE is 35BILLION, expecting a 10-15 Billion ‘kickback’.

The Washington Examiner article, from which the WND borrowed this, is a lot more interesting.
