Trump says second stimulus check could be 'way higher' than $1,200

President Trump suggested this week the next coronavirus relief package could include a direct cash payment for American families that's potentially higher than $1,200.

"It may go higher than that actually," Trump during an interview Wednesday with ABC affiliate KMID in Texas. "I'd like to see it be very high because I love the people. I want the people to get it."

...Frankly, I expect a global crash, a global reset and a global currency. All as a result of every nation being bankrupt, or virtually all (perhaps a few exceptions?)...

I think it is a lot easier if we just inflate the debt down to manageable proportions. Our investments are in stocks and real estate -- great inflation is coming.

“His priorities for those relief measures, he said, are an eviction moratorium and direct payments.”

In order to help Americans in need, this is a good route.

Many folks here at FR have been complaining about the extra funds added to unemployment benefits (and with good reason for many cases). Maybe they will be happier with the President’s priority being direct payments instead.

The added debt keeps increasing, we know that. But it’s a difficult situation when many Americans are still unemployed or working fewer hours through no fault of their own, due to local and state shutdowns. Complicated, for sure. President Trump is trying to help as best he can with these direct payments.

“This is depressing. Democrats and Republicans have no concern for the deficit, no concern for incentives, and no qualms about buying votes with the taxpayer’s money.”

You know, I don’t understand some Freepers. Pubs are always saying how we pay too much in taxes to the federal gov’t, and how the citizens suffer from the burden of these high taxes. So here we have Congress wanting to give us our tax money back in the form of direct payments right into our personal accounts, in other words, a tidy tax rebate, in other words less $ for the gov’t, more $ for us of our own hard earned money. What’s not to like? Why do you protest so hard against the gov’t giving us back our money? Sounds like a win win to me.

“Good, neutralize the Santas of the other side and win the election ..the deficit will have to wait, got to save the country for a while longer”.

Wow. Someone on FreeRepublic FINALLY gets it! No Republican Politician has ever gotten it.
Trump is playing their game better than the Dems ever could.
They openly state “Never Let a Crisis go to Waste” to get what they want. The Dems capitalize on the Vulnerabilities of the Average Joe/Josephine, decade after decade. And, the Stupid Party wonders how their talking points, their charts, their graphs, never ever convince.
President Trump gets it. He understands full well the Dem appeal to the give me, give me, give me people.
His solution to the clueless Republicans and the Give Me, Dems is to give the public the help the Dems demand but, to also diminish the deficit by unleashing the dynamic American Economy.
By unleashing the American Entrepreneur spirit and growing the economy at a rate unheard of, or even imagined by the political class President Trump fills both desires.
He kills two birds with one stone. This reading of both sides of the political mood by Donald Trump is something the Political Class simply cannot comprehend. Why? Because both sides are IDEOLOGICAL. Donald Trump IS NOT ideological. Donald Trump is RESULTS ORIENTED.

[We are at war.]

And with that I agree 100%.

There are no good options.

But Joe Biden and/or the Hildabeast are not viable options.

That is for certain.

Brilliant Christian monetary realist, charter, corporate, bush pilot and businessman Bruce McCarthy delivers a humorous program on the complex, pervasive and destructive Marxist based fraud being perpetrated on Americans...and why it continues even though the perpetrators freely admit what they’re doing to us.
That said, he’ll have you laughing through your tears for America.

It could go with a global reset, as you say.

History suggests that a much messier situation may be in store for everyone.

There could be a centripetal force in play, where all countries break into smaller pieces and muddle through as best they can.

I am thinking of the collapse of ancient Rome as an example—after it fell Europe just became a disorganized mess for many centuries.

The Roman currency no longer held any value, and folks just bartered and made local currencies on an ad hoc basis.

One school of thought is because of our astronomical debt and unfunded liabilities, they’re saying the government isn’t in any position financially to give us all these large sums of money, which is a valid argument.

Then there are others who think since we have been paying in our whole working life, it’s good to get some of it back.

Both, in my opinion, are reasonable arguments

[History suggests that a much messier situation may be in store for everyone.]

When the world economy collapses (worse than 2008, I’m afraid) I expect war. Regional if not global.

Which is a perfect time for a dictator to arise. But I expect a world dictator in the Antichrist, as a “man of peace”.

I believe this is what the Bible refers to. Now I can’t be dogmatic about world war, but I look at Weimar Germany.

Economic collapse in a country that brought the rise of a dictator. I won’t mention 2008 because, you know, that might make a certain Manchurian Candidate look bad.

This deficit spending really peeves me. I have taken my deficit check and will take any future deficit check and invest it for the future of my children and grandchildren. My daughter has even joined me in this. Right now we are investing against the US Dollar. It has been devalued significantly in the last several months and if the spending continues it will continue to go in that direction.

Politicians get filthy rich dogging a hole and burying us in it. Every time they move a dollar 50 cents end up in their pockets.

The only reason they ay with trillions now is they have sucked out 99% of the value of the dollar in my lifetime. Seems they are focusing on that last penny now, then what?

Those who pay a lot of taxes get nothing back. Those who pay zero taxes get this full amount. This is not a tax rebate. This is our grandchildren’s debt.

A slight modification. I know you meant that, but for any Democrats out there:
