On Wednesday, Best told reporters that officers saw a van following a group of protesters around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, before it stopped outside the East Precinct. At about the same time, she said, explosions started going off outside the precinct.
Best said a witness later told police they had seen baseball bats and explosives inside the same van earlier in the day.
Police later impounded the van and, after obtaining a search warrant, discovered firework pyrotechnics, smoke bombs, stun guns, bear and pepper spray, makeshift spike strips and gas masks, Best said
Seattle Police Sgt. James Lee, who works with the departments arson/bomb squad, said his team also found remnants of a Molotov cocktail that exploded near King Countys juvenile detention facility, which is under construction.
Sgt. Lee discussed photos of items found in the van, including a taser and homemade spike strips which were intended to flatten the tires of police bikes. Lee also showed photos of canisters of bear spray which he said had been causing burns and itching and stinging to their face and exposed skin. Chief Best interjected that the use of bear spray on human beings was a federal offense.

But they were peaceful weapons.
Heard of a van that is loaded with weapons,
Packed up and ready to go
Heard of some grave sites, out by the highway,
A place where nobody knows
The sound of gunfire, off in the distance,
I’m getting used to it now
Lived in a brownstone, lived in a ghetto,
I’ve lived all over this town
Why would the naughtZee ss troops leave that unattended? Check for nadless’ prints
Someone owned the van, that is easy to verify. And what about the vans that blocked the highway to Mt. Rushmore? Who owned those? Have not heard.
I’d be willing to bet that the FBI and DHS already know who the organizers are and who is financing them. Yet, all we see is street level thugs being arrested. Could it be that they won’t go after the organizers and financiers because they are too intertwined with the Deep State, the DNC, the media? Hollywood, and even the GOP?
Please wake me when these Domestic Terrorists are somehow legally punished. Instead of the going through the revolving door at the Police Station. I know, I know, the Polices hands are tied by the States Legislature.
This has to be a lie. jerry nadler has said it’s a MYTH. /s
Why are the BATFE convenience store group not involved?
As bad as the Feds are, the locals are highly compromised by their political overlords.
This country is slowly being destryed by rioters but none have been shot. Does anyone think that they will give up? These anarchists are as persistent as the covid virus. No end in sight.
Media will report it is white supremacists. Count on it.
firework pyrotechnics, smoke bombs, stun guns, bear and pepper spray, makeshift spike strips and gas masks
A feller could have a pretty good time in Vegas with all that stuff - Mjr Kong - Dr Strangelove
Too much stuff to carry in backpacks. If this is for rioting resupply, the rioters have their logistics down pat.
Come on now, we all know they’re nerf weapons.
Won't happen until we can locate and reenlist those NG troops that stopped it at Kent State...
Worked then... Will work now...
The Seattle police and FBI could establish ownership of the van by plastering it with brand new Trump bumper stickers. Thats how the press established Trumps ownership of the last election season mystery van.
Yep. Might even be part of the FBI.
Maybe the police chief should ask Nancy Pelosi. She has not condemned this type of activity, so they must be her people.
I think those vans were rented, but the question is who rented and why no news story on an arrest?
