Its the only disease I can think of which is 100% directly caused by ones behavior.
The biggest politically correct insanity is the movement afoot to let HIV folks donate to the blood bank. Of course, the liberal hypocrites, advocating it would never infect their own systems with this tainted blood.
Mexico City is doing a study about Amerigoland regarding attitudes about HIV?
Some people still aren’t into AIDS Pride and the refusal by those with AIDS to NOT inform their potential sex partners beforehand? That some people are unhappy with bugchasing parties where people TRY to get AIDS?

“Universal Precautions”. That means presuming that anyone you meet has some kind of contagion, and you taking the precautions of washing your hands or properly disposing soiled items. Contagions include TB, hepatitis and what we used to call VD aka Gonorrhea and Syphilis. They haven’t gone away.
Oft times, that basic hygiene method is all one needs. But as I stated, this was talked about way back in the Reagan Administration too. People will continue to worry about it. Some of that worry is a good thing, a sign of awareness.
